What players should have real faces?

As a Tottenham man i feel Huddlestone should have a propper face this time round. He's become a regular in our midfield now and also, it's so difficult to get a decent likeness using the editor.

If Konami were to do this i'd happily let them sacrifice the Jenas mug and give him a naff one.

Palacios should have a true likeness too, in fact, just the whole Spurs please.

Faces

Actually, the first thing KONAMI should do is not losing faces. All players that already have faces but are in the bundesliga or somewhere else should be in an unregistred folder until the end their football careers or they are transfered to club existing in the game. Players like SCHÄFER, GENTNER, ADLER etc... will be lost, they would be very usefull for the Masterleague or for those who create german club teams.

I also think it is time for BELGIUM,SERBIA, SWITZERLAND, CAMEROON, NIGERIA, and URUGUAY to be licensed. And some more faces in CHILE and PARAGUAI, it seems KONAMI totally ignores the importance of having faces spread all over the national and club teams. It just makes people play with once forgotten teams. Who wants to play with a national team that has no face and unlicensed kit?

Can you direct me to a video that shows Liverpool player faces/stats? Can't seem to find any.

Baggio, Zidane, Maldini, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Romario, Davids, Bergkamp.. The list could go on and on. But I agree. The Classic Players should have their real faces. But then again, you could just download their faces from the web and scan them in?

I Have tried that... it always looks like shit... scanned or build faces, it looks very shitty and cheap.

If anything, you only mentioned a total of 8 Classic Players... I mean, only a handful of players are memorable, is it really too much to ask to have a total of 20 or 30 Classic Players with their real faces and names?

I think that should be very easy to do. The 2K basketball video games are doing it with their game, EA Sports is doing the same with FIFA, and Konami could do the same with PES.

Would make the MLO better in my opinion, as I could ignore Leo Messi and instead play with Roberto Baggio or Marco van Basten, would add some much needed variety to the game.

I absolutely agree!
But can/will Konami go to those lengths to add the faces of (what I consider) the greatest generation of football players?

I'd love to see Baggio back at Juventus, Batistuta at Fiorentina etc.

Well each individual team as a total of at least 10 faces in it; so, 30 faces and names would be like including 3 additional teams into the game, it's easy and it is very cheap.

The question is: would Konami bother doing it?

I think they will not do this in the next 2 to 3 years, perhaps in 5 years when they get bored of doing the same thing over and over again, who knows; the truth is that only a minority seems to be interested in Licensed Classic Players.

That minority are probably the football fans who actually got to see Roberto Baggio and Zinedine Zidane, etc; the football gaming fans who know that there was life before Messi-CR7 and that there will be life after Mess-CR7.

I have been asking for this for the last 3 years now, instead, it was FIFA who started including Licensed Classic Players in their game...

I just think it would be a practical feature, as it would add some much needed variety into the game, as well as it would be possible to assemble Perfect XI teams; which is one of the fantasies of every football fan, assembling a Winning XI with their favorite players.

In my opinion, it's just common sense, as a football fan I think Licensed Classic Players are simply logical, the best players are all retired and we only have a handful of truly world class footballers today; Licensed Classic Players would have been one of the very first things I would have done with PES if it was in my power.

My ideal PES team, would be a team with 7 hard working average players, but with Roberto Baggio and Carlos Valderrama and Romario in it; and a very vintage uniform.

Also,

I think Licensed Classic Players could be added into the MLO as DLC content. It's one of those things that can be done even after release, as it has nothing to do with gameplay tweaks and it should require barely any time as it's just a couple of faces and stats.

In the future I think most players should en up having their real faces, but for me now would be De Gea, Dominguez... the list could go on forever, at least KONAMI should go back to letting us swap between faces in the edit player mode, like in pes6, pes 5 ...
