What team to be....HELP!

Right, I need to change my team on Pro Evo, not neccesarily for a Master League but to compete with my brother who I tend to lose a lot to!

He's either Barcelona or Arsenal and i've tried Inter and Real Madrid, occaisionally I'll beat him and if we both play as mediocre teams I tend to come out on top but when he's got Henry or Ronaldinho he tears me apart.

I need a club to use, and your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah i'll give Juve a try, quite sad that i've been playing it since ISS Pro '98 on my Playstation, now 8 years on and he still beats me.

He always passes the ball through the midfield, never hoofs and hopes unless he's behind in the last few minutes, he plays Henry and Adebayor up front who he's forever playing 1-2's between but the thing that annoys me is he'll take my defence on with Henry, and he's good at dribbling so if i stay on my feet i very rarely manage to tackle him so when i'm diving in he seems to evade me all the time, get into the box and my keeper rushes out then he squares it all the time for Adebayor to tap in, but if i try keeping the keeper on his line he just picks his spot anyway!

Any more infor needed? He also tends to drop Henry back to help out the midfield and drops his midfielders back to help out the defence. Can you help dude?!!

Buffon's class too and i've played with Milan before and Dida tends to make a few mistakes....true to life though i suppose.

Yeah Juve are good bet but i don't like them as they have no pace up front. Does your bro give freekicks away on 40m/50m? Pass it from the freekick on the floor to a player (facing away from the goal) 30m or less away from the goal. Control the ball then don't press any buttons. Your bro will be too impatient & push you over.

Thanks for the tip mate, yeah Juve have quality players but i always like to have at least one pacy striker and Sheva would fit the bill i reckon, Real are too poor defensively so i'll give them a miss.

Milan do the offside trap brilliantly with Maldini, Nesta and Stam. Cafu is superb for radiing down the right, and I love a quick striker so Shevchenko is brilliant with a target man in the middle. Kaka's speed is a great benefit too. Depends how you play with Milan. I eventually switched to an attacking 3-4-1-2 with, as I said, Maldini, Nesta and Stam at the back.

I've just remembered its a 3-3-2-2, not a 3-4-1-2.

I had the left and right midfielders on the half-way line with arrows going forwards and backwards.

Seedorf/Pirlo/Rui Costa AM (centrally positioned, but left side of the two)
Kaka AM (centrally positioned, but right side of the two)
Gilardino/Inzaghi CF (centrally positioned, but left side of the two)
Shevchenko CF (centrally positioned, but right side of the two)

You get caught out down the wings unless you give it complete concentration. I did a much more descriptive post about this formation a few months back. The attacking midfielders make forward runs and runs out diagonally to their respective wings.

play with 3-3-2-2 and use lot of short passes in the midfield and 1-2s..play with chelsea as they have excellent defence...and good wingers only problem will be u getting caught on the wings i am sure ur brother will find it difficult to pierce the packed midfield.....be sure to try it out

thanks for that dude, i'll try the formation just not with Chelsea cos i can't stand them, apart from JT of course he's a legend. To be honest he doesn't really play with wingers, just Ashley Cole getting forward from left back and Henry drifting out wide but if I pack the midfield out that should work yeah??

Go with AC Milan. No need to make major changes to their formation, they're fast enough, have good midfield, good strikers and can unfold fast enough for counter attack individually and as a block. Shevchenko should do the trick.

just use liverpool, they are a good team especially with captain gerrard holding the team, not to mention alonso tackling and tidying up his defensive duties. solid defense and cisse is a legend in pro evo 5, liverpool is yer team mate.

u guys are just thinking defence, y?seriusly....look for my experience Barcelona is great, u have a good defendese too, puyol is a great defender and wud catch up with ne 1 every1 knows that, best midfield...+ u got a free kicker, ronaldhino who is excellent at dibbling to.but if u really want to go to defensive, then my friend, i suggest juventus, just play deffensive, make sure u set up guys to mark henry and the other dude( i wud put 2 on henry) and call for help, hold square ist sud call for a second defender to help u and juve well.... is got a good fkicker..mutu... so for offensive dont doubt bout giving it to mutu andm make sure u play him tio the left!!

since your good with free kicks try to get him to foul you. practice touching ahead the ball (r1x2) and get him to get the foul
