Hello guys

i was just wondering which you guys prefer to play.
i have read that the league mode offers a more realistic feeling with more injuries etc.
master league is very unrealistic with its tranfersfees and such.

which do you guys think its more realistic and which mode do you play?

Why the heck would you want players getting injured more? Just look at their stats, if their injury level is C then they will get injured easily and A means they are more durable and will hardly get injured. There's nothing wrong with that system.

I like playing the league mode because all the teams have the correct players and you don't have strange teams coming up from Div 2 but as an overall mode Masters League is still number one for me. It's a lot more immersive and addictive.

Plus the patch coming out this wednesday is supposed to fix the ML unrealistic transfer fees.

ML for the win

If you're an average pick up and play football fan, then you should by Fifa. Overall it has everything to play immediately

If you play Pro, then you're a purist, which means you have the patches for the correct players, teams, kits etc...
So random teams coming up? - I have the championship and got promoted alongside Derby County and Hull City.

My players get injured on ML, don't see the problem. Transfers, of course I want transfers, easy or not.

I think you might be pigeon holeing PES players a little bit mate. Just because I play PES does not mean I have all the patches!! Why would it? I've never downloaded a patch and so when I play ML the second division is full of fake teams, which come up to the 1st division. That's MY experience.

And the fact this doesn't happen in League mode is one of the pluses of playing the league mode over ML for ME. But overall I still think ML is better.

Personally can't see the point of playing the game when it surrounds itself with West London White and Manchester Blue (always did my own editing back in the day) but like you said - each to their own I suppose.

For me, it's all about creating my own team from scratch and leading them from the doldrums of Div 2 to Champions League glory.:D

The league mode is just the same as any football game was up until Sensible World of Soccer, I don't really see the need to play a pre 1990 version.:(

But like you said, not everyone is the same. No pigeon holes intended ;)

Oh don't get me wrong, I still do some of my own editing and I've changed the kits and team names of all the Premiership sides and created my beloved Sheffield United. I just haven't downloaded a patch to fix the other teams, so my ML Div 2 is always full of weird sides (apart from Sheff Utd of course!!).

Totally agree with you about taking a team of nobodies (no offence Jaric & co!) from Div 2 to Champs Lg glory. Few games give you the sense of achievement and satisfaction that Masters League does :D

Bring back Vorlander!

most of the time the teams that come up form D2 go straight back down again anyway and vice versa. Was a bit weird as with one ML outing I didn't get promoted and the 3 teams that came down form the premier league were ridiculously good. Got spanked 3 nil off Blackpool but it could have been a lot more on the opening day.

Thinking "Fucking hell if the worst teams are like this in the Prem what are the best ones like?" But as a just about scrape promotion on my 2nd season, unlucky Wolves finishing 4th 1 point behind me in 3rd. The Prem wasn't full of stupidly good teams and Blackpool finished bottom with me beating them easily home and away.

I guess they get a boost so the top league doesn't get full of Wondengine town and S.D Quaztolla etc...
