I've played PES 4 a few times now...I don't know if it is a beta version or the original. I got i from the internet...But I really hope it is a beta version, because the keeper is a disapointment. Really often he just stands on the ground instead of jumping after the ball....Actually the most times he only tries to safe she shot if it is a shot on goal. If you hit a perfect volley and it is just outside the post the goalie just stands there as if it was a shot 30 m above the goal. Can anyone tell me if this is a mistake in a beta version or it is like this in the real game????

Could perhas be realism as sometimes i the shot is heading towards the top corners sometimes goalies are helpless! and have nothing to do apart from stand there this maybe whats happening
i hope the ps2 proevo4 i have is a beta version or i ll switch back to we8...the game in 50 hz mode is very fast and the players seems to float when running...in we8 u feel the weight of the players and i think its better...also the keepers r very bad...i scored a goal from 32 meters and the goalie didnt move at all...it was a bad,slow shot without height at alll...when i played it in 60 hz it was better,seemed more like we8 but it had slowdowns as we8.i think pro evo4 in 50 hz is more like pes3 and no good at all... colours are not very alive,game is too fast,gkeepers are a disapointment...i hope its a beta anyway...
i have played quite a lot of pes4 and i have noticed this its really irrotating happens wayto often.
it would be good if it happend and the ball was going obviosly wide but the keepers stand there as the ball goes 1cm past the post even if you hit the post there is sometimes no reaction from them
i also think that the atmosphere of the games is poor there seems to be no crowd interaction in the realsed version i hope this changes too

I agree with you on the atmosphere...It is really poor and it sometimes sounds as a robot that is cheering. Also.... The sound that appears when you press start during a game is really anoying. Don't get me wrong....Its a good game, but i hope that these "mistakes" are gone in the final game.

Okay....first off all...whats your problem dude??? I think most people that is a member off this forum want the PES games to be as good as possible. Konami has made some mistakes with the goal keeper and of course where going to discuss this. I think you got the wrong leg out of your bed today and maybe you should chill and let us discuss this....no one forces you to read this!

I see your point and maybe your right...! PES 4 is a much better game and Konami has improved a lot of aspects in the game. It's just when you want the game to be perfect in every detail you sometimes forget how good it is and use a lot of energy to focus on the small things...so i guess your right!!
Guys,the thing is that pro evo 4 in 50 hz is really a good game,but if u compare it with WE8 (except the slowdowns) is so so so poor and different...we8 is almost real soccer game with good sound,much better graphics and colours and Proevo4 is giving me a more arcade feeling...its a step back from we8 and it should be one step ahead.i m playing the iss and pro series for the past 9 years in every console and for the first time konami let me down so much...How can u release a game (like we8 or proevo4 60hz) with so many slowdowns that ruin in every aspect the fantastic gameplay the game has...and how can u make the keepers in pro4 so terriblel...maybe because konami has the best football game ever, she is takin a little advantage of us because they known that whatever happens we ll play that game and not fifa...but let me remind to konami that...WE ARE A FOOTBALL TRIBE...i think this year they forgot it...
