Am only seeing the likes of AC Milan, Man City, Rangers and that sort of thing. From the look of things I doesn't look like anybody player at the top difficulty unless am mistaken, of course.

Top player and ML set to hard are what make the ML what it is.. (thrilling). Without that, I don't think you can play that long without getting fade up.
In my current ML it took me two seasons to leave D2 of which I really fought my way up. With the match mode teams its a walk in the park. I tried starting an ML with Arsenal but after going like half the season unbeaten I quit.

I'm thinking of selling Kanu but I don't know who to get. And I know that most people would think that I'm stupid for playing Kranjcar instead of Overmars but he is in form so I shouln't replace him just yet.
Some surprises this season was that Chilavert has 1 goal from open play (a belter from 25 yards) and Sol Campbell scored a hat trick in one game.

I started with the default squad, or rather the custom team option, where you had a thousand points to pick up a couple of real players (Djordjevic, Castan and Wijnaldum). The first half of D2 wasn't pleasant by any stretch of the imagination, by the first transfer window I only had three wins, five ties and fourteen points to show for the first eighteen games played. Needless to say, I considered giving up on the experience a bunch of times. Things started looking up after the negotiation period (picked up Ono, Roque Junior and Ilsinho), though, and right now I'm glad I didn't take the easy way out, even if it meant I was only able to climb up to 10th spot in the D2 table by season's end.

Bit past the halfway mark in the second season I'm dominating the D2 and seem set to challenge for the D1 league title next season with a team that is as follows:
