When is the best time to teach young players skill cards?

I always teach my skill cards over the summer break between seasons. However, if you teach a young player who is still developing quickly a skill card will that stunt their growth?

Basically, should I wait until my 17-20 year old youths are into their mid 20s before I teach them cards, or does it not make a huge difference?

Cheers.

It doesn't really make a difference when, the difficult thing is teaching the correct type of skillcard for the specific player:innocent:

It does matter, because they're making progress very fast at the beggining, so later = better because of that (always you're losing 8-10 weeks of making progress in this way). You should watch their progress and decide, when is the best moment to do that I think :) For me the first season for players from youth team is reserved for making progress, then you can teach them skill cards - because I don't think they will make more progress because of that.
