Where are players disappearing to after retiring?

Henry, Villa, Drogba and loads more of players have all retired seasons ago and still are yet to appear anywhere (not in my youth team and don't appear under Show All Players).

Are they just in the youth teams of clubs and haven't been signed yet?
Is there any way I can find them?

That's exactly where they are. Usually turn up at their old clubs as well, so Drogba is most likely in the Chelsea youth team, just whether they sign him or not.

Better than that, do what I do. Negotiations, search, advanced search and then check the age criteria for say 15-21.....I find this a very good way of keeping track of any good young players and classic players reborn who I might want to sign.

Don't wait for your scout to find the gems, I have a level 5 one and he can only seem to find established and expensive first teamers in their mid 20's

Yea I do that too, I don't think I've asked my scout what he thinks in ages. The only reason I have Scout at level 5 is to get a quick reading of the players I like.
