Coz I'm certainly not happy spending my money on a random player on a random position that I don't need , like I needed a cb I opened 3 10000 go balls I got 3 rb really

the purposs of microtransactions is so people like yourself can buy loads of top agent packs in one go and build a half descent team or if you've bought the game a couple of months after launch and need to catch up with a squad , BUT theese packs are random and unless you land on a black ball (i hav'nt yet and ive opened about 8 10,000 packs with earned GP) then you wont get a descent player so my advice is save your money and every game you complete you get a free agent player and theres a black ball in their and ive been one out from it 3 times and got my third best player in suso (gold 75) from a free agent.

I think when they said "buy players you want" meant buy the players in the position you want (FW, MF, DB, GK). lol

Just an advice, if you do get Ronaldo, keep him off the squad until you have an adequate amount of GP (costs 4300GP to renew contract) and a good team spirit squad and his stamina drains rapidly.

Half decent being the keywords, you can have a team full of 85-90+ players you want but if team spirit isn't 70 or higher you're going to have horrible passing, miss the net on attempted goals and your GK won't make key saves (and even let in weak tap ins). On my PC squa's 85 GK Cech only has 1 link to my manager and he's sitting in my subs list while my 69 GK with nearly all links performs well, a bit backasswards.

yeah this is really annoying i mean how are you supposed to get a high constant team spirit when you pick random players who may or may not be linked with the manager and his formation to suit all your squad??? its a bit stupid, or i dont understand it in depth yet.

The team spirit rises for players after they have played games for you. Their compatibility with your manager will rise. I have players that from the start didn't have any positive effects on team spirit but after 30 games or so the fields is orange behind them on the tactics screen and if you look at player details you can check how high their tactics compatibility with the manager is. I have players that now after about 30 games have over 90 in compatibility with manager.

Also I just built a team yesterday where I had team spirit of 73. After about 7-8 games it is now 77 and it's the same players. I haven't changed anything. Just played a couple of games against the CPU in between with my fitness squad (a bunch of useless players I got from free agents where my first team players are on the bench to gain back fitness).

So build your best team and consistently play with it. The team spirit will rise eventually. The more you play with them the better it will get.

I have also used a tactic of playing a player that is really bad for my team spirit for 10-15 games vs. CPU only where I pretty much know I will win anyway. Then when he adapts a bit to my manager I put him in my first squad.

another thing ive only just realised is that i dont tend to use subs as i want to save their contract but as ive just finished a game 3 of my bench are out of contract? this is just silly so with the masive amount of gp needed to constantly renew every few games your telling me ive got to unregister and change my entire squad before every game just to save 11 players contract for 1 game if im not going to use them? its slowly getting to the point where i feel a gun is pointing at me saying buy myclub coins motherfucker. no wonder they chuck 5,000 gp at you every morning for the first week so youll want it even more when its gone a bit like the stuff they put in mcdonalds to make you want it more next time!

You're right about the team spirit. I have a manager of 71 who's maximum cost is 480 but team spirit is 98 for me cos i've been playing with the same team.

I have a few top players based on getting three black balls(not Ronaldo type players - Soldado, Vidic and Jackson Martinez) but they didn't fit into my team spirit total.

When i play guys with top players and TS of 71, i outplay them and my players defend well as a unit and make great runs.

But it's also important to play some of the players with less links so they can improve with time.

Once you select a manager, go to squad list and select team menu and you can select players based on TS. You might need to tweak a few things to ensure you have your strong players.

Also, the tactical compatibility improves the more you play the same group of players.

how have you had three black balls ? are you just lucky ? i have had none and still waiting for my starplayer , i mean ive been one ballout on severall occasions but i think its not totaly random i mean the more agents you open then eventually i will get one as im starting to get gold balls alot more in free agents rather than whites.

You can create more then one squad. And then just switch between them. In one of my squads my crappy players are in the starting 11 and my star players on the bench. Don't have to switch players all the time.

I was very lucky with the black balls I got, I thought I knew the strategy but it changes. I got two on the same day. My first one was Vidic and I got it when you have the black ball that had a gold between them. I waited for the balls to go round once and then I clicked when the black ball was behind the player to the right and it got the black ball. The only problem is that there are different variations of it so apply as necessary.

I also agree on the selecting only one regular agent at a time; I have got a few silver and gold balls like these but never a black ball but I've been very very close(off by one ball twice).

I have a large squad of about 40 players that include below 70 that I combine to save me paying for contract for top players.

Interesting tip someone posted earlier. The lottery spin is ALWAYS the 6th ball to the right of the starting ball. Top agent OR low agent. Try it (I'm assuming Konami will patch it as more people become aware)

I thought there was a strategy until i got obsessed in trying to see the trend and then a guy posted it in youtube

I don't think Konami will make changes to it as it will make them money and make people believe that they have a fair chance of getting a black ball
