I got my copy today, like yours it's the USA version and I have had a few games tonight but in all honesty I had to turn it off, I'm so disappointed with it. So many issues I can't be bothered to list them all but to summarise it feels unfinished to me, like they rushed to get it out to compete with FIFA but Konami have really screwed up this time, I much prefer PES 2011 and after so much hype and expectation I feel very let down. Will try again tomorrow but all the excitement has gone.

I just had another go and I could write a list of about 10 issues, one of the main ones being the keepers which are really ruining the game for me, they are broke and worse than ever before.

Well I was having a few issues with the game, as I like my footy matches as realistic as possible. Still not sure is assisted settings is best a 2 or at 0. and game is definitely most realistic at -2 speed.

I'm not too unhappy however, since my first goal I ever score on my new game was a exhibition match with Man Utd. First goal being an inside run from ashley young ending in a cracker of a 30 fter being leveled into the top corner. :3

definitely needs some setting tweaks for my preference, and definitely some issues, but I really believe its a vast improvement from last year.

Some of the assisted passes are just ridonculous.

I believe that's only for pre orders, I just went right into the store and bought it. The funny thing is I hear most pre orders are getting the game on the 30th.... >_>

I found the game really interesting, I'm just waiting for an option file to come out so I can enjoy the game even more by the way you might of heard but there is an update coming this Thursday to Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 including goal keeper improvements , AI.

I got it today and also got the foam thingy.. .lol.

I like the game but my biggest issue with it is the running bug that prevents me from sprinting... this is on the 360 US version. I saw this on the demo as well and ppl assured me it wasn't going to be in the final game, but long and behold there it is...

I got the game off E bay. It's the US version of the game but it's from someone based in the UK. He has quite a few for sale. Bought it Monday lunchtime and it was delivered the next day, great service, shame about the game.

Good news about the update but I hope it solves more than just the goal keepers, ie,
1. Even with assistance turned off you get to much pass assistance and often doesn't pass the way I ask it to, if I want to do a 30 yard pass why does my player decide to play it to the man standing 2 yards from me!
2. The power is useless, hold it down during a pass and it will still do a short pass.
3. Scoring is to easy. Even on top player difficulty.
4. AI dribbling is crazy, all players dribble as well as Messi!
5. That great feeling when you score that you got in past PES games is missing for me.
6. Stadium graphics are much improved and if you play on camera settings as mud range or long then graphics are great but these cameras are almost unplayable as are some others. Only really one camera angle that us playable.
Less important:
7. Commentary is basically same as last year.
8. Crowd chants / sound effects are dreadful.

I love PES and I want to love PES 2012 but I'm just not feeling it at the moment.

What us this foam thingy?

I have the PS3 retail version of the game and haven't noticed and running bug in that but I did play the demo on 360 and saw it there. I actually preferred the demo for XBox 360 over PS3 for some reason, could be that I was playing it on my 42inch plasma rather than a 26inch.

Hang on, just realized when I put the game in my PS3 last night it said there was an update for software which I downloaded, I know they say the update is out on Thursday but what was that I downloaded, please tell me that wasn't the update we are talking about because if it is!

Also I have the US version of the game but based in the UK so do I have to have a US psn account to download or can u do that when I just put the CD in the console?

Because if thats the case, it would be really good as goalkeepers suck big time this time.

i had problems at first i didn't like it but after playing a few more games that sour taste has gone, it's pretty good you just have to get used to it.
