Who tried fixed and spectator modes?

I've put in a lot of time in fixed mode on the We demo to get an idea of how BAL is shaping up and I have to say me likey. On top player and super star I find the AI from both your teamates and the cpu quite intelligent, at times humanlike. Gone are the moronic plays and actions from 2009. Now they pretty much perform like how you would expect them to. I also don't get ignored when I hit the request pass button when I have acres of space unlike in 2009.

360 movement really helps when you're playing with the vertical camera, especially when dribbling cuz of the constant angle tilts. Now having more angles to dribble into make using the stick in this view a real treat. This view also looks gorgeous.

I also tried some spectator mode cuz I don't tend to fast forward matches when I'm on the bench. The action looks so much more realistic and exciting compared to 2009 where it was a borefest between 2 teams of untrained monkeys.

Here's hoping for a rock solid BAL mode come release date

I agree, played a few games, there is no need to call for the ball at all, I only hope that Konami introduce something like the EA virtual player, it would be something else then!

Well your teamates are much better than in pes 09 for sure. For example I saw a really great individuality from ronaldinho.
We know how that guy can pass in reality and break the defence with the pass.
I was with Kaka and although I wasn't in the action, ronaldinho made a move and made a pass that was so lifelike to Fabiano and he was 1 on 1 with buffon. So lifelike. I really enjoyed that.
There was another one where diego made a first time pass towards me while I was unmarked. Really cool. It is shaping up to be good. But there's room for improvements to be totally awesome.
