for me its been
PES 1-Zidane
PES 2-Henry
PES 3-Joaquin
PES 4-i'm still undecided who's been the best it might be joaquin again

Bought two players on ML in PES4 and they were quality stand out players for me, can't remember where I got them. Kaebi was one and Hernandez was the other, both could play various positions in the midfield.

Didn't own PES1 or 2, in PES3 I'd say Shevchenko, in PES4 it surprisingly was/(is) the mexican FW Bravo.

In the demo, Aimar has been terrific, Vicente and Fabio Aurelio have been class as well... as has Sasha Hleb.

I reckon Adriano will be near unstoppable now that the size/strength thing will be properly implemented in the game.
