Why do defenders suddenly become attackers in games of Pes 2014?

Sometimes when I am playing PES, I discover that my centre-back is always standing up front and doesn't actually help in defence. I go onto game plan and it says that he is still playing centre-back. There is probably a button which makes this happen but I couldn't find to on the command list and it is really annoying because I don't know how to deactivate it. If any of you know why this is happening, can you help?

It happens for two reasons, first is you are loosing late in the game and playing offensive tactics , second when you press r2 after the pass player that just passed the ball runs forward and stays there for a while it happened to me quite often because I was used to hold r2 way before the ball reaches intended player.

this has been happening since the demo. I made a thread about this with videos but ppl seemed to just ignore it.
