Y do you think konami has refused to release a demo for PES2009? I think they just dont want people to see the flaws in the game before they buy it and therefore release a crappy game like they did last year. If they have confidence in their product the should release a demo!!

See the videos of pes 09. Tons better than pes 08. Also there will be a demo. Just wait. Konami never said that they will be releasing a demo when the fifa demo comes out. Konami only said that there will be a downloadable demo.

Its got nothing to do with confidence in the game. If they choose not to release a demo prior to the release, which i doubt, It would have everything to do with sales. They know that die-hard PES fans like us would buy the game unquestionably every year, but if they don't release a demo, then tension and excitement about the game will build and build right up until release day, and more people are likely to buy the game, to give it a try.

A frankly pathetic post.

No point in releasing a demo if it is going to be an unfinished build of code. Remember also that producing and releasing a demo means taking time away from finishing the game in order to get a demo up and running without bugs.

A demo is coming but if they don't release one before the game comes out, it isn't a problem. Tons and tons of games have demos which are released up to three weeks AFTER the game is released.

The PES 2008 demo wasn't released this early so whats the problem with the 2009 demo not being released yet?

Hopefully we should have some action on the demo front by the end of next week. :)

I feel sorry for the people who actually think that Wikipedia is a 100% reliable source,and swear by it for information,because beleive me,plenty do.

It's going to be a sad reality when some kid has now marked that date in their calendar,and then he sudenly realizes "Shit,the games has been out 2 months already".

who cares about a demo tbh. 25 before the 17th of October and its ours.

Its all about having Faith in Konami. I have faith in their ability. I played Metal gear Solid othernight and i was laughing at how excelllent it is

THQ = Masters of Wrestling Games
Konami = Masters of the Football Games :)

Everyone knows it...can't wait till the 17th. So the talk about who to buy, editing etc etc begins once again :)

i think your a sceptical ass. FIFA released there demo with a little under amonth to release, now PES is released later,they still have time to release theres in a a similar time frame

DO you guys remember last year? it came out for xbox 2-3 weeks before the game and poor old PS3 users got it about a month after the game came out?! hope that doesn't happen this year, the little buggers!
