holy crap is this game totally different from the WE10(japan vers) we've been playing since the past summer. did i miss a setting or something? totally slow, clunky, glitched the F out, and just plays nothing like the japanese number 10. even the 360 version didn't play this crappy.

i mean, did i really miss something? i don't own the game, but played at a friend's place..ps2.

i hate the fact that konami limited those special hairstyles for some reason.there are over hundreds special hairstyles in PES6,but there are only 10 in this version.

HAHAHA, I KNEW IT. USA got shafted. All of these WE haters are starting to come out of the woodwork. I LOVE IT.

In my honest opinion, and not trying to rile people up, because as everyone knows, that is completely out of character for me, but the only people who hate PES are the people who are shit at it.

My mate hated PES 5, because he couldn't do sweet FA in it; he couldn't score or defend, blamed the controls and traded it in for the edition of FIFA for that year and has stuck with Fifa now.

Blaming your inabaility to adapt to new nuances and additions to the gameplay stating it to be 'clunky, slow and glitched out' is basically admitting that you cannot adapt.

It is not the games fault. How can it be that bad when so many more people love the game than dislike it? Surely they'd have experienced this crapness as well? Or wait; maybe they did when they played it, but after 5 minutes, they got used to it??

I've been playing Pro Evo since ISS Pro Evolution on the PSX, and I have never blamed my wankness in the first few matches on the game, but accepted that i'd get better after a few goes.

I missed the first two (ISS Pro and ISS Pro 98) purely because I was an N64 gamer and ISS 64 and ISS 98 were the games to play at that time. However, when we played Iss Pro Evo we never looked back.

I agree somewhat, but you also have to consider the other side of the spectrum. I find the game WAY TOO EASY, even against friends who are legitimately good players. I used to be the worst of the group, but now I'm easily the best, and they blame my victories on "cheap goals" or "stupid AI". My only gripes with this game stem from the fact that in this point in time, video games should be PROGRESSING. Example, in PES2007, my defenders will part like the red sea and I have to frantically try to switch on them (which can be difficult at times) and put them back in place. This didn't happen at all to me in WE9. I guess I'm satisfied with PES2007, but the real test will be the PS3 version of the next Pro Evo.

the game is way too easy simply because the cpu AI is stupid and cannot make a single smart attack play throughtout the whole game.

You're trying to say that every CPU team playing the same boring style of trying to chip the ball over your D-Line isn't smart attacking??? (sarcasm)
