Why on earth is this usual feature not implemented this year...

I had such high hopes for pes this year, the demo gameplay was awesome and seemed to add some really nice new features...

Yet as soon as I start up the game I noticed one horrible thing that they have left out on ps3 year. The Prematch entrance scenes. How is this even possible to not have in a ps3 game. I'm sure it can't be difficult to keep in in the slightest. They even had this 20 years ago on footballing games, it's shockingly bad getting rid of it on konami's part. The prematch tunnel entrance etc gives such a great feel of a match and the anticipation of a game esp during a tournament and to not have it makes the match feel quite empty really.

Anyone else as annoyed as me about this? I just really do not get how this has been left out and only apparently appears in the ps4 version.

Only missing in exhibition games, plus nobody watches them anyway after the first 2-3 games. Not a big deal.

I wish that was the case but no. It is also missing in master league which is the mode I play more than anything else.

Oh well then that is not good, I heard it was just exhibition matches. Guess these game companies are putting most of their effort into next gen, it's to be expected.

It's weird they didn't add it to the PS3 version... It has it for the PS4 version. Odd.

Yeh it really doesn't make any sense at all. I mean come on this was literally a feature in games like actual soccer back in the ps1 days. I have always been an avid pro evo player and maybe it's not such a big deal to some people at all but to me it does give such a nice feel for an upcoming game being able to watch the players come out the tunnel, then line up and shake hands and see them warming up on the pitch etc. I just find is quite absurd that it has been taken away from the game for the first ever time.

Again, Konami is directing their dev resources towards their PS4 and XBox 1 versions. For example, I hear they're adding more stadiums later but only for the next gen versions. Pretty simple: if you want the complete package, upgrade your system, it's like everything else these days.

It seems your talking abit of bullcrap there, The full package on next gen? Thats hardly true when you can't even import an option file! :/ which means current gen has more of a "full package" than PS4/Xbone.

But to the issue at hand, its disgusting and pitiful of Konami to remove the most basic feature in football games for the past 20 odd years.. What the hell was they thinking? Master League is as barebones and basic as it gets right now, we don't need a lack of entrances and in game cutscenes making it feel anymore empty and souless!

I spit on Konami

PS4 and XBone = current gen // PS3 and xbox360 = last gen ;)

I don't understand Why they removed those scenes, especially for international tournaments it is dissappointing, because there are no national anthemes anymore.
As well there are no Substitution cutscenes. I feel sad about it. But for me it is no gamebreaker at all.

It is happening again

You can probably blame Sony/Micro$oft for that one.

Well it's like everything else in life, you can blame and act like a victim, or you can take charge and do something about it. Get a PS4 in other words. And all this about the missing cutscenes was known days ago, nobody held a gun to anyone's head and said they had to buy the PS3 game with the missing cutscenes. Their mistake for rushing out and buying the game. I haven't bought the game yet because I've been reading about all the missing stuff, poor PC graphics, etc. It's all about being a smart consumer.

Well not only on ps3..the same happens for PC version also..evem if you have a 50% better pc than this new gen consoles even then you cant get the quality like a ps4 on PC..i dont know why konami would do this..i think pc gamers will decline with the quality they are getting from the games...

At first I thought it would bother me but it really doesn't at all considering the gameplay is really fantastic.

Doesn't bother me much. I would only look at it for final of something, anyway. It was a nice touch, but something I can live without. As long as they don't start compromising on anything else, I'm not bothered.

yes i have to agree on both , it really disapointed me at first but after a while you get used to it and get on with pinging balls through to costa and smashing teams but i was more disapointed they could'nt have all the la liga stadiums like in 2013 because that would have been 10 out of 10 but again im on ps3 and im not going to moan about it as i know if i want better graphics and animation i will have to invest after crimbo i think but for the time being pes2015 is quite easily the best football game ever made on any console

nobody watches them anyway after the first 5 matches or so, it means one time less to press a button to get to a match quickly which will be a godsend if you wanna play Master League/Myclub with a good flow. The slow menu transitions and replays killed the older PES games anyway it was hard to have patience for a long ML season.
