Widescreen resolution?

Hi, did anyone get this game to work in widescreen? I did some search around and it seemed a few people got it to run at 1280 x 800? However, it does not show this resolution in game settings, would really appreciate any help.

Your monitor has to support 1280x800 in order for it to come up in the settings. I use 1280x768 on my TV but it still looks a little stretched...

The only true resolutions for the pc version of pes5 is 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, although it will come up with widescreen resolutions if your monitor supports it, but its not teh "true" aspect ratio, it is stretched, so everyone looks bulky :). I wish they put tue widescreen, you would see so much more of the pitch and plan ahead like a chess player :), maybe not but it would add to the playability of the game.;)

I got it as default in widescreen. I thought that its ment to be played as 4:3, but then I watched my little brother to play challenge training on my tv and noticed that those training "targets", (blue, yellow, red) were round, not oval. When I looked same thing in my 4:3 monitor, those were oval. It just needs to be "stretched" from your TV. In my Philips (shit) I put the WIDESCREEN and it stretches 4:3 picture to 16:9 and targets are round...

Have to check what is that correct reso, if someone needs it.
