That'll be the live updates. As for when they'll be updated for offline modes..... that's anyone's guess. Probably April knowing Konami!

In all seriousness, when do we think Konami will actually release the date for the next update with January transfers included? And when do we think roughly that date will be?

I have barely played PES 2016 since buying it but would like to start a Master League season soon - just don't know whether it'll be worth waiting or not. Despite apologies after the fiasco at the start of the season with the summer transfer update being so late, I hope they don't do the same with the January update.

As I remember Paul mentioned that there is a two week approval period for any datapack. So we need to wait until January ends, obviously, and then it depends on how much time it will take for them to include all the new transfers + two weeks.

Last year the data pack was released 12th of March, so I'd expect it to be around the same time this year.

I still don't get why it takes Konami so long to do anything? EA seem to manage to keep their 'game' up to date and they have twice as many teams? Even with this 2 week sign off thing, that must mean the latest we get an update should be 15th/16th February. Why do we need to wait 6 weeks until mid March??? Crazy!

If they can update them weekly for online why cant they do this for offline too, like Fifa do? They already have all the transfers apart from todays which will be added Friday, lol..

Because online/offline are separate. They need to do all the transfers for offline separately. I think that was the reason. Plus, transfers come with datapacks, which also include faces, boots and it takes time to prepare them as well. All in all, its very weird and Konami admitted or at least Adam admitted, that this will change in future PES. They will change something about database, so it will allow them to release all transfer updates much quicker. I hope starting with PES 17.
