within the game - Quick Free Kicks

i find it highly ennoying on pes6
when you get the choice to have a quickstart freekick
by the time you click it, nearly all of the other teams players will be behind the ball, this is not the point of the quickstart?

Its a good idea badly done. What annoys me is thet its almost impossible to find a man with a pass from a normal free kick. I lay most of mine off now and just run with it.

Yep i agree, can't think of once a quick start free quick has been useful, half the time the ball just gets kicked to opponent.

You do know you can control the movement of the pass with the left analog stick right?

Thats fine but the point of a quick pass is to be quick. by time the time the screen loads again for the pass the oponents have already formed a wall... that doesnt seem like a very quick pass.. however if u get it right it does start up the game faster

And I agree about the kicks but hopefully they'll make it better in PES7 so that the kick is actually taken without players being moved around.

I hope so aswell. Seems to be deliberate aswell since there are lots of examples of for example goalkeepers being far out of goal when opponents get a throw in and when the game restarts for the throw the keeper is still almost outside the box. So it doesn't really make any sense for quick free kicks to be any different.

yeh this is poorly done,where is the advantage if the cp is just gonna put the oppnents whole team back in their half although it does work sometimes

i was really dissapointed with quick free kicks, was really loooking forward to a change from the usual everyones in position when u take a free kick and its a total let down, doesnt seem hard to get right, also they should add quick corners and throws in pes7 too.

other options from a quick free kick

what annoys me is that you are unable to shoot or play a long ball from these quick free kicks other than just playin a boring old short ball to the nearest team mate. you cant even play a through ball either.


i think that konami should include the possibility of varety from a quick free kick in the future titles and definitely on the ps3 version that will be released soon hopefully when the ps3 hits the uk.

another thing that pisses me off with freekicks is when you get 1 about 39m and you want to do a long pass into the box our player are rite up your ass ffs i meen get in the fucking box ffs
