WTF is happening in season 4??????

So I started a new BAL in top player mode as I was blitzing proffesional.

1st season - 4 goals
2nd - 5 goals
3rd 10 goals and in the top ten for goal rankings
4th season and I have now transferred from Stuttgart to Bayern Munich and it's just awful.... my team mates look like a bloody sunday league team not the most successful german club team ever!!!!

I have scored 3 goals all season and I'm 2/3's the way through. 2 of my goals have been runs straight from the kick off aswell.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I expected Top Player to be harder to play not near unplayable!:realmad:

I'm experiencing this as well, I'm in my 7th year and have a overall rating of 90. I transfered to Athletico Madrid after a very long run with Valencia, after being frustrated by how the team was getting progressively worse while I got better I transfered and in my first half year with Madrid achieved 7 goals and 21 assists winning the league, Copa del Rey and gaining the assist leader title. (Very good year :blush

However after securing my starting spot, becoming a central figure and pretty much deciding to stay at Madrid for as long as I did valencia my team became absolutely ridiculously bad. Aguero whose overall rating is 97 can't score...misses the net and never passes, my goalie can't save a single ball and my defence lets forwards just walk in.

I've played in top player since the beginning and am getting overly frustrated with it.

Another thing that sucks is my speed is 95 and my acceleration is 95 and I'm being beat on the outside by defensives with 62 speed stats...kinda ridiculous.

I play AM btw.

Similar thing happened to me. I'm at Chelsea, and we're 8th in the league despite being #1 ranked club in the world and having Zola and Beckenbauer in addition to Drogba, Lampard, Terry, Čech, etc. I've also lost two of the three World Cup qualifiers so far for England. Fourth season blues? Hmm.

I play it on professional and BAL is very hard, but my teamates are good. Especially Barcelona.

no my 4th season was great i won every thing ,, top scorer with 26 goals and got 8 assists !!

i started to think that it's easy and i'm playing at professional and i want to put it at top player to make it harder !!

Top player is not harder than professional. Not at all. Top player is only slightly harder, but not by much (not regular to professional difference) but the game cheats much more and your teamates won't play good. Not realistic by any means.

So basically the glitch is in the AI for Top Player then?

Man its annoying as I absolutley hammered proffesional but Top Player is just so frustrating......... do we think Konami will release a fix at all?

I have waited for a transfer window but was never given the option. Does it matter which transfer window it is or is my game just messed up?

You can change the difficulty during the final week of the season.

ahem. I have been playing it since day one and think it's awesome. In my 3rd season with Fiorentina and 4 years into my BAL.
We experienced a bad season last season and failed to make the Europa league but this season I am on fire really starting to pull strings in midfield with Montelivo and scoring goals from runs that I am starting to read from Fiorentina's playing style.

Seems to be harder since the patch. My player isn't as fast and my teammates don't seem to pass or play as well as they did before.

We were 3rd before the patch havent won in 5 now and are on the slippery slope.

i had a same season on chelsea.. the first season on the team all was good but the second... only my player was in the team... i take transfer to lancashire on the half of the season .....

For me its all about the difficulty...

In Professional you can do the same things that in Top Player (AKA ESTRELLA), but the one BIG difference its the AI in your teammates... they are absolutely stupids.. the defence is frozen in front of a bad forward...the keeper its a joke... and you almost never get a good throw pass... In top Player the defence and the offence depends on you... You have to do almost everything.

yes this happens to me aswell it is very frustrating as i haven't had a good season with Madrid I've only scored 8 goals and 2 assists and am in January transfer window with defenders like puyol who is 37 being able to keep up with me makes it fukn impossible to score
