Without feeling good to ever hit the wacky-backy again, surely there'll be a difference in putting 30 leagues blocked against 30 to edit.
For a yearly release, communities should spend 50% of time in edit mode, and let's consider everyone wants upgrading.
Surely, KONAMI can fill in brief the gap in presentations, giving tv broadcast custom content, so everyone will be able to display the match at own preference and maybe other twick here and there, but always in second place after gp, "fucking myclub (FIFA)".
Every year they say they are few as money... Now Adam flown in Japan to join the team and a big change in dev-department will be announced.
Finger crossed for 3/4 packed game.:ninja:

Philips you are right it doesn't cost them anything to add more fake leagues, unlock all hidden content for editing and give us full control. However, if they do that and we can have Bundesliga1 & 2, Portuguese1 & 2, Austrian, Russian, Turkish leagues and more fake national teams to edit, then you, I and a lot of PES fans will edit and play for 3 or 4 years wiouth buying another PES edition. We will have plenty of teams and players to edit which is time consuming. I am glad when new PES comes out, but I don't enjoy editing from scratch every year. KONAMI understands it too and that is why it is the way it is. They want us to buy PES 2019, PES 2020, PES 2021 and so on and so forth. We want to enjoy the game and KONAMI in it to make money. Cost nothing and everything.:brickwall:

Yes, editing is time consuming. If every single editor starts making all the teams from scratch, yes, it would take a lot of time until everything is ready (trust me, I know, I am an editor myself). But take a look at the community we have: I have seen Option files for 2nd Portuguese League (I am doing it, not finished though), Austrian League, Bundesliga, Turkish League, Croatian League, Czech League, Irish League, Scottish League, Danish League, Italian third division/Serie C [...this list goes on and on...] and all those teams from Champions and Europa League, like Qarabag, Maribor, BATE Borisov, Astana, Ostersunds, etc. etc. etc. And that only on Europe: we still have America (MLS, Liga MX, Colombia, Costa Rica, etc.), Asia (CSL, J-League, A-League, K-League etc.) and Africa (South African League, CAF Champions League, etc.). And all of this was made in a few months by the amazing community that PES has. Now, you tell me, wouldn't you like to play all these leagues in a Master League or Become a Legend? Why do we need to be so limited in this aspect?

Only thing that Konami has to do to keep selling is make edits compatible from one year to another, so editors won't need to make everything from scratch. If they keep improving the game and edits are compatible, they will sell millions. Or just add an option to choose which leagues we want to use in ML/BAL (that way, if the fake leagues slots aren't filled yet, there's a way to disable those and play only with the ones you want). That way, everyone is happy. :D

Also, if the problem is in "database limits", then they really need to change their system entirely. FIFA has many more leagues and teams and they still keep adding a few. (for example, they added 3. Bundesliga on FIFA 18). Even games from the 90's (Sensible Soccer, for example) had bigger databases than PES has now. If in middle of 2018 they can't make a good database, they should fire everyone and hire new people who actually understand about games and computers.

Let's hope Konami does the right moves with PES 2019. I don't want to see this wonderful game series dying.

Philips I don't think you read my posts, all of them and if you did you probably didn't get the vibe of my point. I already said all of those things that you have in your post. Anyhow good job mate - we disagree to agree:)

I am sorry, I was reading this topic again, not sure how but I think I missed a post or 2...

When I said I didn't agree I was only refering to the part where you said it would take too much time to edit so many teams. I should've put that more clear. :eek:hmy: I changed it a bit now.

You're right, maybe I didn't understand the vibe of your post at first, but I do now, sorry. Anyway, my opinion on that matter stays there :D

No worries mate. I hope KONAMI hears us out and give us at least something better this year. I used some of you kits this year - excellent work mate:bravo:
