X-Box 360 - help

Well I am pretty pissed at the PS3 delay here in the UK and have now decided I may resort to getting X-Box 360.
Can anyone let me know what their opinions would be, is the game selection as good and would I be making the right choice.

well i getting one too and i seems good from what i've heard games like dead rising and saints row are good and i would suggest getting the console with the 20gb hard drive thats what im getting

Get the premium console, probably the best games to get are Saints Row and Dead Rising (I've got them both) and they are really good, Dead Rising you have a story (which I find is pretty hard) but you don't have to follow it you can just go round killing zombies instead just for the fun of it.

XBOX360 all the way my friend, there are some great games out currently and some better ones coming soon. Not only that you get to keep on playing the halo games. Live is awesome with mates too. No contest.

I am in the same boat as you my friend. I was planning on buying a PS3 for Xmas but after the delay I went and bought a 360 on Saturday and I couldn't be happier. I have Saint's Row which is great and I'm getting hooked up to Xbox Live tonight. Get 360.

Call of Duty 2
Saint's Row...I recommend those three.
The 360's definitley worth buying as there are loads of good games available now and tons more coming out soon, like...Just Cause
Gears of War
The Godfather
Splinter Cell 4: Double Agent.

eh? I don't think the core has a hardrive.

Core - no hardrive, no headset, no wireless controller and no ethernet cable.

Premium - You get all that for £80 more.

If you mean get the Core console you get a memory card with it which is 64MB.

I would wait for PS3. With Blue-ray u can expect more in games, especially with konami being best of partners with sony. Both consoles should have about the same graphics but i would expect PS3 to have more games. It all depends on what types of games u like really. BUT PS3 for me, METAL GEAR SOLID 4 !!!

Do you think there will be a difference between PES on 360 compared with PS2 and what do you think will be better.

Is worth the money and can you list the games either out or coming out soon that you think will be good.

Can I insert music which I can listen to whilst playing Pro Evo instead of their orginal music

I was gonna get a PS3 As soon as it hit shelfs in Europe, But Now I'll prob wait until June 07 To get one. I don't think the Graphics will be any different from XBOX 360 to PS3 - Well, Obviously there will be differences, But what I mean is I don't think there will be alot of MASSIVE Breakthrough differences. I would still favour PS3, But I think Sony have pissed alot of people off because of there delay after confirming the release date to November. Anyways, You do some re-search on google.com on both, Compare them and see what you think, And go buy that!

Thanks for everyone who helped me out in both threads. I have had a real good think and decided the 360 is not for me. I will just wait for the PS3 and get that next summer but untill then the following games will be enough to keep me going.

I think the graphics are insanely good I went round a friends the day he got his and I was baffled by the graphics on Fight Night 3.

PES6 will be alot different to the PS2 version not just graphic wise but gameplay aswell but I've heard this contract is only for 1 year.

I've been a playstation man from the beginning but I too got pissed off with sony delaying PS3 and went out and bought a 360, mainly so I can play Pro Evo 6 when it hits the shelves. Since connecting to xboxlive though Call of Duty has taken over my evenings, it's an excellent online shooter. Only problem is sometimes you can lag but mainly when the host is from america, this doesn't happen too often though.

Yeah i saw that offer, too. Even if you dont like PGR, it's pretty good value just for the extra wireless controller (seeing as they retail at £35 each).
