Do you get the feeling however hard x-box try they will still be third best behind nintendo and ps2. for instance nintendo is purely for fun and kind of kiddish games, whereas ps2 is has serious games. So does x-box try to do something new or try to evaluate fun and serious in one console.

What do you guys think

I sort of disagree with the Nintendo comment. Sure, games like Mario probably appeal more to kids. It doesn't mean you don't get any enjoyment out of them. With Nintendo's new controller, I think it will be even more enjoyable to play.

Based on the XBox, Gamecube and PS2, the XBox is far better than Nintendo.

With there sad attempt to make a small console with big graphics that turned out to be a small table with big disapointment.

The XBox brought us the best online gameing to date.

The Nintendo brought us old games with slightly better quality.

The PS2 still comes ahead of both though with the largest libary of games and best graphics and gameplay.
