X-Port

I finally found an X-Port in a local store, but the shopkeeper told me that could only be used for PS2 from America or Canada.

The sign was U/C.

But I checked mine, it was J, for Japan.

So where can I get one for the PS2 Japanese version???

I thought X-Port was for PAL PS2s and sharkport was for US ones.
I am not sure about this.
What does U/C stand for?

PAL X

meaning not suitable for U/C and PAL, only for Japan.

Maybe somewhere like Games Exchange, they sell that kind of stuff there, well they do in the store by mine.

Just a normal game shop, in Singapore.

I'm surprised they have X-Port though, I've not seen one anywhere else.
Just some short-lived joy.

Hi again guys haven't been here for a while.


Anyway after loading the option file from x-port to memory card in PS2 U/C, can that memory card be used for PS2 J if they are both PS2 memory cards???
