This guy is the best player in the game by a mile for me. Don't know where Konami get his attributes from, he's a great passer don't get me wrong, but where is all his pace coming from? He's so much stronger than players like Yaya Toure and Drogba. WTF :laugh:

I think it's got something to do with that white strip he's wearing ...

Well I've played over 600 games with him, I can say he's been absolutely amazing for me, but I cannot agree that hes fast, it's probably his only weakness though, Xavi might be better on the ball but xabi is brilliant in dispossessing the opponent

As he's intended to be used as a DMF, tall enough for headers and has the passing skill (card & stats) he's virtually the best man u would want in that area of the field. I went from Cambiasso + Xavi to Cambiasso + Seedorf to Seedorf + Mascherano to Xabi Alonso + Mr. Anybody and can approve one thing: He's far the best midfielder in defensive means even if Cambiasso & others have some def stats better than him. He's just the perfect man to get the ball (hold it if necessary) and distribute it.
Before I had him I always sticked to at least another central/off MF besides the 2 offensively capable wingers in fear of being dominated in the midfield but now I just count like 4 Defs + Xabi and 5 Offs... That's quite a balanced formation I tell y'all.

I'm sorry to say, but wishing for it won't make it come true, as much as you want it to.

For the topic, I've never actually seen much out of Xabi these last years. I mena, he's solid, but nothing special. Guess I might just have been using him wrong.
