Xbox 360 v Ps3 (head to head)

Having played around 10 games on each console tonight on the same 50in 1080p tv i can't believe how much better the 360 version is.
First of all i am not a fanboy of either console and have always owned playstation's and always played the game on playstation after the snes versions.
The only time i switched to xbox was last year because the ps3 version was only 720p and you couldn't patch the ps3 version.
I can't understand why what used to be a playstation only game now seems better on the xbox , i remember the the first version on the old xbox being rubbish compaired to the ps2 version.
I remember reading somewhere that it is easier to write the games for the 360 because it is pc based and then port them over to blu-ray for the ps3 i am not sure if this is true maybe somebody can explain.
Surely the ps3 version should be better being more powerful and using blu-ray discs that hold more information.
Last years pes only had 720p on the ps3 compared to the 360 version being 1080i , this year the ps3 version is still only 720p but the 360 version is 1080p btw i have the hdmi 360.
It looks better deeper colors and is much smoother prob the reason why it looks better is the 1080p i haven't played on line these games where played offline.
But both my friend and i both agreed it plays a much better game of footy on the 360 and we have both played pes since the snes.
Anybody that has both consoles (a hdmi 360) and the game on both formats put it to the test you will be very shocked i can't go back to playing it on the ps3 after putting both head to head tonight.
Hopefully next year there may design the game around blu-ray and port to the 360 ?.

Im no fanboy either, but mate, PES5 on Xbox looked and played better than the PS2 version. So in my view that has always been the way with PES.

Got to disagree gaza, i own 2 360's one of which has a HDMI out and a PS3 , and have got both copies of pes 2009, and found ps3 version runs better, and me my friends and brothers all agree that ps3 version is better. I tested both in 720p so i cant say how it would run in 1080p, in jan iam geting a 1080p tv so i will test it again. But u see i find off the ball movement of players and com AI better on ps3 and faster response of player movement i think the more processing power of the ps3 is helping all of this.

P THE GHOST i have not played the 360 version on 720p but like i said it runs a lot smoother on the 360 on 1080p.
After playing the 10 games on the ps3 first and then 10 on the 360 (1080p) i would never play it again on the ps3.
Why the ps3 version has not got 1080 support is totally beyond me , makes me think this was def programed for the 360 and ported over.
Because the first next gen version was made for the 360 with the ps3 not being released and i think they have carried it forward.
You really need to get a 1080p tv and try it the difference is really noticeable (deeper colors , crowd looks higher quality , game plays smoother , slightly better looking graphics)
