Just want to ask people has anybody played both versions yet of Pes 2008 on Xbox360 or PS3. I bought it on the 360 as I wasnt sure about the PS3 version even though I have a PS3 at home. My bro bought it on PS3 and I played it I was right to buy it for the 360 the game is far slower on PS3 Konami must be having problems with the PS3 like a lot of other games developers when trying to make PS3 games. The only thing I think the PS3 version has going for it is that it has the option file before the 360. What do you guys think out there anybody prefer the PS3 version please tell me......

No, its not retarded to complain about the xbox controllers since the Sony design is generally regarded as the second best design to date( first being the wii remote). Not many people have huge fat hands like in America, so the overly large and clunky nature of the MS pads are a major draw back in sales worldwide. Just look at the Asian market. Sony & Nintendo consoles consistently outsell MS and controller design is a major factor, just look at wii sales. I myself have an old xbox here and I had to strip the pad down and remove the springs from the triggers because they were just to damn stiff. 20 mins of playing a driving game meant sore hands and fingers from depressing the triggers so hard to register properly, so spring removal was a must. I ended up getting a cheap knock-off pad that was much smaller than standard with springless triggers and it made the Xbox experience much the better for it.

Remember for a lot of people pads have to "feel" right and the Xbox ones just dont cut the mustard.

well, i know more people would rather use the ps3 controller on the pc than the xbox360 controller... i guess it just has a better feel....

but honestly, i can't answer the question because I only own a ps3...

I've been playing Playstations since I was six, but am getting an Xbox 360 for Xmas. Seriously though, how can two massive consoles be compared over the controller.

Quiet easily, why do you think the Wii has sold so well ? Its not fancy graphics that for sure since it does not do HD content at all. Its all about the gaming experience, if the pad is a bugger to use people wont like it. Xbox pads are overly large and cumbersome, where as PS2/3 have a better feel to them, but the Wii remote still is the major selling point for the masses. Hell there is a 600+ waiting list localy for Wii's this christmas, but plenty of PS3's and 360's to go around but there not selling as well.

You say this, but surely the Wii is popular because of its overall interactivity rather than the actual controller. The buttons aren't really used much apart from the trigger. Also, do you think that if the controller itself didn't have to be physically moved around etc, would it be as popular? I take your point though mate, personally I'd rather use a PS2/3 controller anyday, it is an excellent design and compared to the XBOX conch is highly superior. On the positive side, at least I can now play Halo and PES online
