I've been looking foward to 'Army Of Two' for some time now, supposed to come out in 2 months. Any of you guys seen/heard of it, it seems pretty cool, theres another trailer on youtube somewhere but I can't find it, this games all about teamwork and it should be awesome to play co-op online:

4 new gears of war maps to be released on thursday for 800 ms points up untill september 3rd I think and then they will be free.

Does the X-box 360 play region 1 DVDs? Or is there anyway it can? I remember you could buy a disc for the PS2 which allowed you to play them.

A Finnish magazine has recently scored an exclusive interview with Ubisoft regarding their up coming Xbox 360 exclusive Splinter Cell: Conviction. Here you can see some great looking screenshots and a tonne of information that is in Finnish. The main parts have been translated, and as you can see, the developers are saying this won't be possible on the Playstation 3 as it stands.

- No more sneaking around in the shadows. Apparently you're going to be more like James Bond and infiltrate buildings in plain daylight. You won't have to use force or sneak around as long as you don't act suspiciously.

- According to the article, every single object that is rendered on screen has physical properties and most of them can be used by Sam. For example, Sam can pick up furniture and use it as a weapon, or throw printers at enemies or papers in the face of enemies to gain the upperhand in fights.

- Melee fights are much more than "press this button to hit" this time around. There's different context sensitive attack buttons and as mentioned before lots of environmental interaction.

- Some pretty negative comments about the PS3 made by the devs. They state the fact that they are exclusive to the 360 allows them to do much more than if they were multiplatform, but they also state they doubt they would be able to achieve what they're doing with the game on the 360 on the ps3 even if it was ps3 exclusive.

Those are the most important things in there. Ubi also claims the AI is really good and the magazine says the AI for example makes cover out of chairs and tables

I like the look of it tbh.

Ubi seem to work pretty good on the "every single object that is rendered on screen has physical properties" and "Melee fights are much more than "press this button to hit" this time around. There's different context sensitive attack buttons and as mentioned before lots of environmental interaction" parts. I've noticed they've done the same with Assassin's Creed.

Missus is getting a Wii so I may rent it for that, to see if it's as good. If not I'll wait till I get a 360 and get it then.
