Xbox Live Problems!

If anybodys having trouble with Pro Evo Online post em here and hopefully some1 can answer them for you.

So far ive realised that unless your the host that the game can be slightly more unresponsive (hopefully the patch will sort that out!)

Also does anybody know how to change the text above players heads to anything other than the players GamerTag!? some people have long names you know!

I've had this weird problem where suddenly I can't hear anyone on line but they can hear me. Thought it was just me until someone else reported the same. They said they reset and it was OK.

I have read that you can't change the name on head thing, along with the cursor speed.

When you're not hosting it's totally unplayable. The ball is uncontrollable and opponents just run past you with ease. Not impressed.

If its this bad i dont understand why they didnt just use network play, as it seems to me live is just settuing up a direct connection between the two people anyway.

doc, I think you are right. Live usually sets the game up on a central server, but it may be a case that it is merely connecting the 2 users, so basically both connections need to be more or less in sync with each other. if one is faster upsream/downstream, then the other will lag, and vice versa.

I've hosted a few games so far - the game has crashed twice. After that tho, Played 5 Won 5 so not so bad.

I'm disapointed not to see a online league or cup support - that would be ace. You could set times like in black arrow for the matches.

i have had the game crash on me a few times as well as dickheads who quit when the y score a goal

yea on times the ball would go through the keeper but suddenly it would be in the keepers hands!! AND i also find that u seem to miss alot of headers on the game due to lag that sucks!! p.s mattshez that was a lucky win!!

lol! hopefully the patch will take away 99% of the lag so ive heard, so it should be ok in a week or so!

Ive suffered abit of lag..when playing a mate..but it wasnt awful lag..ive come across some quitters and some right idiots though..so i just sent cheating or bad cursing on there feedback about 50 times lol!

I do hope tho..konami sort this quitting problem out...maybe we should all send a email to them about it

i've only experienced lag against spanish people? and the commentary sometimes gets stuck on sayin bout 20thing bout doin 1 thing, like 'hes played the ball forward''hes laid it on''hes put it up the pitch'

It seems that unless youre hosting its crap, I used to play doom and quake on a dial up and it was more responisive with more players playing! I have a 600k connection and unless I host the lag is bad, as timing is crucial in the game, sometimes you end up losing games not because of the player but because of the lag. People moan about the quitters which is frustrating but lag is just as bad! Pro evo on line as moment is crap unless they sort out the lag, or unless you got a mega fast link
