Xbox Live Question

Stevie Baby

Firstly, I have live, nothing wrong with it and all that. However, my question concerns the Xbox 360...

After paying for a yearly subscription to Xbox live (which started quite conveniantly on January 1st) it obviosly isnt due to expire until Jan 1st. But with the arrival of the 360 in November, what happens to live? Do I have to pay for another subscription for this separate console or can I somehow keep my live but switch consoles?

Any info regarding this would be appreciated, thanking you :)

I think I read somewhere that you will be able to transfer your current subscription onto the new console - couldn't be certain of that though. Or indeed if the information I read is true.

Yeh, I also read that, I think if your current xbox live runs out after the release of the Xbox 360, like mine and many others, I think you will be transfered onto a new live on the 360, called "Gold" and people who just purchase the xbox 360 without allready having live will recieve the "Silver" version of live, which is free but will offer less then the "Gold" version.
