B-SHOOT
A-PASS
Y-THRU PASS
X-LOB/CROSS
Left Trigger: Change player
Right Trigger: Speed burst. Touch sensitive, the harder you hold it down the quicker the player runs
The black and white are used to adjust your ingame strategy ie. counter attack, defense press, normal attack, centre attack, fb overlap etc and also to increase/reduce your defense/attack bias.

Ala ps2.

Right Analog stick - Faint, "Deke", Dribble
Left Analog stick - Move player

EDIT: Well, apart from the X and B buttons being mixed up, they're identical, as far as my button using goes anyway :D

May I ask where you have this info from?

Are you sure that B's shoot and X's lob?

And how does changing strategie feel to do? Does it feel akward or anything?

A: :x:
B: :circle:
X: :square:
Y: :triangle:
Left Trigger: :L1:
Right Trigger: :R1:
White Button: :L2:
Black Button: :R2:

That would work fine but only on the 'S' controller...

The controls are very similar to Fifa on xbox! Pass, shoot, lob, through ball and sprint are exactly the same. And yes, I do play Fifa, since it's the only footie game available on the box ... I'm glad this will change soon!

About the xbox controller, I suggest people give the S controller a try. To me, is the biggest misconception about the xbox! Most PS2 owners love to use that against the xbox, but I believe it's only a matter of getting used to, like it always is when you try a different controller. People use it for 1 hour and just start bashing it! The button layout may affect how you play this particular game, but that doesn't mean it's a bad controller, in general. Give it a (good) try before you buy an adapter and you may be surprised!

if thats a link to the PS2 converter thing i personally think its not worth it because you'll have nowhere to insert the XBL headset
Doesn't it work to use the PS2 adapter for playing and use the default gamepad in the other port for the communicator
Or doesn't that work??

if the run controls are analogue as this guy has just said, then you'll not be able to use a PS2 controller with it. Because the controls have been designed to have the R trigger replace L1, R1, R2

basically with the xbox one, the harder you hold down the trigger the faster you sprint. so you have complete control over it
