Sick of barca and real madrid? then this is the league for you! :)

The guys over at http://fifaleaguemanager.com/ (formerly known as Pro Evo Network which was the biggest pes league out there during the ps2 days) are going to run a PES league this year, PS3 and 360 leagues will start on the 17th, the sign up threads are now open but will be closing on Monday night when they will be replaced by the sign up threads for the reserve list.

the leagues are always extremely well run over there, the community is great, the leagues are competitive but fun, no players who look to exploit flaws in the match engine etc. This season is a basic league format with average type teams (sunderland, atalalanta, espanyol etc) but once we gauge how many players are reliable (have 36 ps3 league members and 24 360 league members so far) and build a sold base of of players for the league we will be adding such things as transfers for season 2

so far we have 20 ps3 players and 10 360 players.. looking for around 30-50 so we can match the fifa leagues over there. any questions at all then dont hesitate to ask.

i havent heard anything about PES' online modes this year, so unless it changes i dont think us European guys can play you guys in the usa unfortunately :(

i will test it out once i have PES next week, if we are able to connect to usa players then you will be more than welcome to join mate :)

you where our 20th 360 member mate :)

ive been put in charge of the pes section so any questions just pm me over on the league forum. this thread here was to tell people about the league, the actual league will be run on the forum/site that you signed up to.

for now yes bud thats all you have to do, it would be best to look around the forum and familiarize yourseif with it, maybe integrate with the community a little. the league will be kicking off around mid october (depends what date konami release the updated squads patch). during the season u will have to be a little more active on the forums as that is where you will organise when to play your game with your opponent and then post the result.

alot more info will be posted in the upcoming days/weeks which will simplify everything

so far we have 32 ps3 members and 17 xbox members.
the sign up threads will be closing next monday in preparation for the start of the league, there will be a reserve list going up after the sign up is closed on the 8th. so if you are interested after the 8th just put your name down in the reserve thread and you will be contacts if a vacancy becomes available.

37 ps3 players and 24 360 players now. so it looks like we are just looking for people to be placed on the reserve list, because its the first season we are expecting a few dropouts so you shouldnt be waiting to long before a vacancy opens up, once it does we will contact you

Wigan (lancashire athletic) is your team on 360, you are also palmares in ps3 league :thumbsup:

ive pmed you on the leagues forum but just incase you look here first...once you have organised what day/time to play your opponent you then just play the game like a normal online match, in the lobbies.
once you have played the game you just post the result in the results section of the forum. the result will then be registered to the league standings, its as easy as that :)

hopefully that explained how it works, If something isnt clear dont be afraid to ask, i remember how confusing it can be when joining your first online league, after you have played a game or two you will see how simple the setup is :)

also if im not around to answer a question you can always ask on the leagues forum, we have a lot of helpful members in the community who will answer any questions you may have.

glad that you are so pumped up for it, and i am to :D first pes league ive competed in for years (the last one was pes6) and im glad there has been so much interest in this one because PES is amazing when playing vs like minded pes fans instead of the cheats or the barca/real madrid players, should be a great season :)
