Today I got a mail from Konami:

Beste Han,

Ik mag je inmiddels al wel vertellen dat de nieuwe PES 4 voor de Xbox in ieder geval live gespeeld kan worden. Verdere informatie heb ik helaas niet.

Translation:
Dear Han,
Now I am allowed to tell you that PES 4 can be played on-line with X-Box LIVE
That's all information I have.

I guess that's great news; I can't get it more official :cool:

I'm off to gamestars Live next Thursday, for a Dutch Xbox website I write for. Hopefully we'll be able to catch some scoops on this over there. Or any other official news on PES on Xbox for that matter.

Check how the conrtols work on the xbox
just wonder how the xbox control will work with pes
especially as the r1, r2 run works so well on ps2 wish xbox had 2 right triggers

Yes that is my only concern, how will the controls play on the Xbox controller. I long for the HD to save all those replays, the better graphics and the 5.1 sound. And above all other things: Xbox Live! :) But that is my biggest fear and concern too..

You can spare your energy about that, because it will not. Konami wants a secure gaming network, which LIVE is. They need to build their own network for PC and PS2 and as long as that's not finished, PES will not be on-line for PC or PS2.
I can offer you phonenumbers, but I don't think my contact will be happy if I spread the email-address over the internet. Apart from that, you are Czech and need to contact another email-address than Konami-benelux.

Dont Forget Ronaldo, he has his part in creating the league with me also!

Anyways i have a few ideas for rules etc. for the xbox live league jotted down at home. Basically it will be a normal league, just like the premiership for example (not as many people though!)

Ive also been thinking about problems to come across such as disconnecting from a game, so it can tackle cheats and help keep it fair if it wasnt their fault theye left the mathc, and also missing a game.
