You need to use the USB lead & upload your edited data from the PS2.

So it's only possible if you do this directly from the PS2 (i.e. the max file needs to be uncrushed?)? Or can I just download a max file from this site and put it directly on my PSP?

How to use your PS2 option file on your PSP

How To Send It:
  1. Connect the PSP USB cable in to the PSP, and the larger end in to the front of the PS2.
  2. Turn both systems on.
  3. On the PSP, head for the "PlayStation2 Data Link" feature, in options, and initialise it. The PSP will now tell you to connect a USB cable but ignore that for now, it's just waiting for the PS2 to connect with it.
  4. Look for the same option on the PS2, this time called "PSP Data Link", again in options, and initialise that.
  5. The PS2 should now send the option file to the PSP and the process is complete.

What sends and what doesn't:
  1. Sponsors & kit-maker logos do transfer.
  2. Team badges do transfer.
  3. Transfers between clubs and created players do transfer.
  4. Player appearances do transfer.
  5. Edited boots do transfer, and are assigned to the correct players.
  6. Stats changes do transfer.
  7. Team formations & tactics do transfer.
  8. Registered national players do transfer.
  9. Correct player numbers do transfer.
  10. League names do transfer.
  11. Kits styles do not transfer.
  12. PES Points do not transfer.
  13. Unlocked PES Shop items do not transfer.

Seems strange as I'm yet to find an OF will corrected kits - starnge as itworked in PES5 - has anyone actunally managed to transfer an OF that includes the kits from the PS2 version?

I've had the PSP version for about a week now.

Improvements:
*Wide Camera Angle
*Enhanced Editing facilities for Players - Facial appearance, boots, etc.
*Master League

Overlooked:
* Stadiums - Every Match is still played in the Schüco Arena. Why Konami, Seabass, or whoever has selected this stadium instead of The Bernabeu, Nou Camp, San Siro etc is beyond me.
* As it's on a handheld console they could have the Birds Eye view as a Camera Angle for the PSP.
* Editing of unlicensed Teams?
* Commentary

I used the OF from Goalgerd and Pategato, which is already installed on my PS2 via the MAX drive. I simply applied the transfer as described earlier on in this thread and the OF file was transfered.

The first time, it didn't work as I already had an option file on my PSP AND I forgot to save the transfered option file.

The second time, I simply deleted the existing option file on my PSP, transfered the Goalgerd / Pategato option file from my PS2 and I saved the option file after the transfer on my PSP.

Is it possible that you can post the transfered PSP save file some where for us to download?

Hi,

Sorry for not getting back on this earlier, but I have been on holiday for a few weeks.

I am not sure whether you can simply put the option file folder in the PSP folder, but you could try. I transfered it directly from the PS2, but it might work as well by just pasting it.

I have been without an Internet connection for a while, but it should work again today or later on this week. As soon as it works, I will post the option file folder as it was created on my PSP.

Cheers
