I've seen this before and was a bit confused at first, I think its is still 'on' the pitch though.

the rule is... the ball must be touchin the line. as the ball hasnt got a flat surface, it is covering it. all of you lot sayin it hasnt, im sure if your team on a saturday was in that situation you would say it had crossed.

This hapened to my mate once, the computer passed it back to the keeper, he let it run past him, it went into the corner of the goal where the net starts at the inside of the post, TOUCHING the net, although only most of th eball was over the line...not completely. What would happen in real life? goal or not?

If you saw this as a lines man in a match you would have to say its out, and the frickin line is bigger than the ball, lol.

The ball isnt out ! You can take a side view front view, view from below it doesnt matter - the ball is still in as it is not 100% out when looked at from above.

Imagine a piece of glass as thick as the touch line - would the ball be totally outside the glass - no it wouldnt !!!!

lol
accordid to the rules the ball must be compleatley over the line and you cant see clearly if it is compleatly over so tecnicaly it is in favor of the man who is dribbling with the ball
