This has been a case since pes 6 moslty. Suddenly the AI wants to score. But guess what? In reality many teams do that. It makes the game interesting. So try to defend it. Do not rush with every player towards the AI trying to outplay you. Try to close gaps. Use semi assisted settings and change player constantly to close every gap. Then the AI will not score regularly.

I posted in the moment. I was just pissed liverpool came back to tie. I def dont regret that tie... but at the moment, WOOO was i heated. But yea, it def makes sense for the team to pick themselves up when they are down 2-0... and they did it well....

I agree with Shaun saying that it may be because we just chase the ball like a mad man. since this has always worked in previous pes versions, we intend to keep playing like this holding the R1+x all the time. Did it for 5-6 games in the beginning of my ML to find out it's not the way - at least not for most of the games i play on top player.
To get back to what Shaun said: try to predict the play, sometimes i just use R2 button to screen the man in ball possesion. Then i change cursor and run towards the player i think they're gonna give the ball. (of course playing against the weaker teams, one may not have to be this tactical)
- As for the first post in the thread. I definetely agree that liverpool gets some strange goals sometimes.
But to me all the big teams are lucky in pes. They don't pass the ball around to make wonderful goals - i find that they score most of their goals from responses or mistakes by defenders, and the fact that i sometimes can't switch cursor to the defender nearest to the man in ball possesion..

I was 2-0 up against Liverpool in the 60' min, when a horrible blunder by the defense led gerrard to knock it in my goal, 2-1. Woo im about to win, 90 minute stoppage time, oh wait here comes liverpool full throttle, oh good I lbocked the shot... but then a series of really really odd blunders made the goalkeeper not catch a ball goign 1mpg hour.... and helping gerrard knock it in for the tie...

Yeah that is indeed true, I sometimes use R1 + R2 to freely go around the attack and just take it under his feet . Anyways you are right. They score most of their goals from mistakes by defenders and the fact that we cant switch the cursor in time tot he nearest man , wow that happened to me so many times, and by the time I do click on that guy, he stops.....

Your right many teams try to push out everything..but that's not the issue here.It's the succes ratio that's the main issue.

Although many teams may try to put in an all out attack..in only a few instances it leads to succes..in PES however it's a 90% succes ratio....AND..it's not that they OUTPLAY you..no..your players suddenly act like morons and make childish mistakes...

No tacts can beat that mate, because it doesn't matter how CLEAN you tackle the AI most of the time gets the benefit of the doubt..or the balls ping pongs on some Irish luck to a AI player onside..and gues what...THEY SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know. That's why it's AI cheating. But still do as I said, don't run at them, stay back and try to predict where they're gonna pass or shoot, then intercept. It reduces it to 50%.:)
