So bigplayer, i'm stupid because i don't have many posts.... that's the most stupid thing i heard. Even if it was true, you would be much dumber cause you joined in november, i joined in september.

And about defenders; Since when is the description of a defender, try to injure someone and if you get a red card it'll be funny.

Anyway i am a much bigger fan of Portugal then of England.

You have more odds to injury a player if you a defender or a DMF, right?
Because it's not like, i ask Ronaldo to tackle a player, but Desailly will problaby use the tackle more often than Ronaldo(this are exemples, btw OMF/CF and DMF/CBT)....

I'm going to cut all the offenses because it's being stupid, we discussing this....

I didn't like you,when you told me that i was teling a story...i promise when i get the X-port, i will show you. :D
We are were telling stories of games we play, right?
So, let me tell a story, right? :D

I was 2-0 at half time against Chievo in ML. Second half, Ronaldinho owned it by scoring a hat-trick. First goal was a brilliant drag-back and shot outside the area. Last two goals must have came in the last ten minutes. He had enough chances to get two hat-tricks.

Fair enough, if you show me the replay i'll take everything back. Except that you play very aggresive.

Not quiet a comeback but worthy of a mention, had Henry(playing for AC Milan dream team) as tops scorer in div one(5*) on 21 goals with a few games to go, gets a hatchet job and is out of action for last few games. Trezequet(Juve) chap makes a late run for title of top scorer and passes my man Henry out with 23 goals and one game left.
Henry has grey arrow form(or whichever comes directly after an injury) but decid to give him a game as have league wrapped up and Preugia shouldn't be too much hastle.
2-2 after 84mins with two lucky Henry goals prayin Trezequet hasn't scored in his game, Zidane threads through a pass to Henry with one man to beat, Henry shimmys and cracks one from the edge of the arc...top corner and golden boot

not to be taken seriously
Its not a much of a recovery, but the first day I got pes 3, the first game I played was England v Germany (gotta be done). they scored straight away from a poor corner, but after that it was all True British Bulldog pressure. Looked at the instructions at half time for some times and was showing some silky skills second half but couldn't finish it. Then the dirty krauts fouled Owen in the dying seconds, and up steps Beckham for the free kick, bends into the top left corner (haven't been able to recreate it since.) I jumped up threw my pad in the air and shouted

"A NEW SEASON STARTS ! REAL FOOTBALL IS BACK !"

Then I beat them on penalties! (True Story, ask my cat who shit herself?.)

About the whole "likelihood of injuring someone with a certain player."

Defenders: yes, they probably make more tackles. But they're better at it. Good tackle = lower risk of causing injury.

Plus, it's amazing how many tackles your forwards and attack-minded players make in PES games, due to the "I'm going to get stuck in" stats going out of the window the moment a human player gets his paws on the PS2 pad.

Therefore, I'd say attackers cause more injuries.

BTW eric, throwing your pad in the air is only good if you catch it on your way down. Just ask both of my half-pads. ;)

i'm still playing the demo (PES should be arriving tommorow) but one of the best matches I played on 5 stars was a 3-2 win over Germany as Italy.
It started off badly with first Klos knocking in a header from a corner and then Berne scoring from a free kick. I went in at half time 2-0 down and feeling like I was in for 2 and a half minutes of hell when I went back out.
Strange thing was, I started well. Really well in fact. Zambrotta made a driving run and with a little through ball Totti hammered it in from 25 yards. A few minutes (game minutes) later Zambrotta made another run and was brought down 29 yards out. Totti stepped up and floated it into the top left hand corner. 2-2 at 65 minutes. For the next 20 minutes I barraged the German goal but the combined might of Oli Kahn and the fact none of my players seemed to be able to get a decent shot in (some couldn't even hit the target) kept all of the balls out. Then with 2 minutes left on the clock Vieri fired a shot from 30 odd yards that Kahn just pushed out for a corner. Totti steps up again. He managed to curl a cross that met Vieri's head and went past Kahn to make it 3-2 with seconds left to play.
I was SO happy with that match it was unreal

im in my 8th season now, and i still remember a match i played in my 2nd season cos it was so memorable.

it was the last game of the season, against spurs. if i win, i win the championship. at this time kewell was my star player, along with rivaldo. both were rested for this game because i was also in the champions league final.

anyway, spurs had went 2-0 up by half time. a crappy tap in from a parried header, and a 35 yard darren anderton free kick (how i did laugh).

although i wasnt too bothered about the league at the start of the game, that soon went out the window as my fighting spirit went into overdrive. i brought on kewell & rivaldo for 2nd half and within 5 mins had pulled one back (kewell). it took until the 83rd minute to equalise (kewell again) and in stoppage time i was on the edge of the box with kewell on his right foot, and because i was desperate, hit it anyway. it hit the post and went it, giving kewell his hat trick and my team the title.

without doubt the most enjoyable game ive played yet

How do you lot remember every goal of every comeback?

I can't even remember the last match I played.

Good question. I can usually only remember the last couple of scorelines for each individual I've played.

I've already mentioned this story in another thread but it's suited to this thread so here it again....

Playing in a World Cup on PES2, 5*
Sweden (me) Vs Argentina is the WC semi final.
Not playing well and at half-time, it's 4-1 to Arg.
I subbed my keeper and changed the formation to 3-4-3.
Played quite well in the second half and managed to win it 5-4.
It's always good to see Argentina players crying :D

Tonight I was playing my brother France Vs Brazil on 5*. He was winning 3-0 and it finished 3-3. He says, "You cheated!!" :)

My team, AC Milan against AS Roma in div.1 master league.
totti put in twice pass keeper Sorensen. i'm really pissed.
2nd half, on 70+mins my Nedved made solo effort, made it 1-2, then assist Castello in 80+mins, 2-2.
In dying moments, nedved again, made a superb drive outside penalty box. 3-2 :D.
Tell you guys, Nedved really made up to his price. Cost me 14k in nego :((

had a few.

One was where I came back on ISS98 from 3-1 down against Croatia to draw 3-3.

Or when I came back from 2-1 down with 5 minutes to play against Italy in the world cup final to win in extra time in ISS Pro Evo 2 on PS1. :)

Actually not my comeback but my bros ist the best I've seen :)

We were playing Argies versus England. (me as Argies) and within half an hour (game time) I was 2-0 up.

It stayed that way til halftime.

Halftime was a total turn around, Sven must of spoken above a hushed whisper in the change rooms cos the lads came out firing!

A screaming header from Sutton brought it back to 2-1 from a Becks corner. Curses!

Then with 5 minutes left to play and with me under intense pressure Becks unleashes a screamer that hits a post and rebounds to Owen who slots the ball home.

2-2. And extra time to play.

I hastily rearrange my team as I struggle to get back my dominance.

Extra time is a see-saw affair. Its totally tense, and people have crowded around the PS2 to watch what happens next.

And what a finish. Owen lets off a screamer from outside the penalty box to win it for England with a golden goal late in the second period.

What a pain! :)

I agree, I have had some memorable matches with a mate whose Welsh, so lots of England v Wales games but can never remeber score lines or scorers, just that I won and as long as we beat the Welsh, then that's cool with me!

Bring on the World Cup Qualifyers...
