Best youth signing for my team would be Villalba. For a 17 yr old he has amazing impact off the bench, scoring in pretty much every match I bring him on, and his stats increase fairly quickly too. Plays as AMF or SS.
Best value developed signing (11m pounds) would be Tim Cahill the brilliant Aussie who can play 90mins or come off the bench to score a late winner. He can play CMF, AMF, SS, CF and is a good header of the ball. Some of his stats are still increasing even though he's at his peak now.

Lol really. I made a bid on him eventhough I definatly don't need him, and surprise, signed him easly for 1M only. First season.
for now my best signing was ashley young from aston villa (im playing as sampdoria so i cant sign the BEST players) anyways, he is pretty good and pretty much what i needed.

none of them are worst signing or anything, but i belive i shouldnt had signed bellamy because, even if he performs quite well, his stats are decreasing since i got him, so he wont stay there for long..

I've seen quite a few people bagging Jovetic. Whilst he hasn't been my best signing he's certainly done alright making an impact off the bench. Admittedly his speed is disappointing but he is hard to shake off the ball, has accurate passing and even though his shots aren't the most powerful they sure are on target. I spent the time & money training him to be a CF too.
Most recently Jovetic came off the bench to score the final goal in a tense 4-1 CL win over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.

His rating is somewhat low compared to what he is. I'd recommand D. Silva, or even Van Der Vart, but he is an AMF. Both are infact. Take a look at Hamsik, Modric, Illucnizc (spelling...)

Oh man I have played nearly 100 matches, won the prem x2 and champs league x1 with Liverpool. I signed Queresma and Robben first and then went on to buy Juan Mata. Robben got sold after 2 seasons not really that good lost out on around 10 million.
I have noticed that the better players dont wanna come to my club for some reason, I am about to sign Miccko and signed Diego (GK) on loan.
I sold Kuytt for 35 million to Chelsea, lol. I must admit Zarate is AWESOME. I was losing to Arsenal 3-0 and he scored 2 of them ended up winning 4-3 wirth Juan Mata smacking some Long rangers!
I dont know why I cant buy Gourcuff! Is it becuase the team is doing so well? It talks about wage demands but my squad is 20 players only????? any ideas?

Gourcuff is almost impossible to buy...Unless you are in a very high rating team and in like season 4-5. I doubt you will success even then...Lol.

I might have a look at modric i think i had him on my scouts list cant remmeber though, but i do have low funds so some big names might not be possible
Amalfinato, or Analfitano, or so, try mixing with the names, is also an decent midfielder. He is around 90 stats at the age of 26 at 4th season. He ain't awesome, but he is very cheap and not awful. I repeat, he ain't magic.

I reckon the game has a hidden AI system that only allows a number of "Star" players join a team. which is logical really as in real life players dont wanna be sitting on the bench. For a test I will re-start the masterleague and try and sign Gourcuff or I will get rid of my star players in the game already as I am number 1 ranked team and see what happens. What do you reckon?

i got gourcuff! they offered 89mil, got him for 58mil (euros) liverpool second season mid neg. Got lucky i guess. I a trying to get a top striker to liverpool, but no one wants to <_<
