Your style of play in PES4

What kind of football do you play with your teams in pro evo? Do you play fast, attacking football? or do you tend to just pass the ball around, waiting for an opening.

Personally, I'm more of the latter. I tend to play at a pretty slow tempo for most & just keep the ball. It gets me the results i suppose, which is the main thing.

How about you lads then?

Pretty much the same I'd say, I tend to pass the ball around, keeping most of the possession, therefore pushing the opponents back in their half and intimidating them. This might sound pointless, but annoying the CPU seems to work for me. Don't let them have chances, because I find that the more chances you let them have, the more dangerous they become.

Over the last few months, I've become alot better at defending, yet still kept my attacking enthusiasm. This is my game plan. :)

Depents, I usually mix. Against a serious opponent, I play slow, but against others, I go dribble and do stupid things like try to hit the bar as much as possible...

I blue myself
I tend to play a balanced team, with both a strong and flexible defence and an attack that can exploit a teams weaknesses in loads of ways. i only play 3 at the back but with 2 defensive midfielders ahead, so i'm able to break up attacks and start my own. i have 2 very good wide men who can outrun/dribble/think most fullbacks. so i can spread the play out there or i can take it thru the middle. i like playing it along the ground moreso than in the air tho, so i like slick passing players with high technique. overall i guess the key tho is speed. my defence has to quick enuf to make up the ground if there's a counter attack

I play a mixture of both, play all out flowing attack, then slow down knock it around the back for a bit move up to the midfield back to defence. Then all out attack again I like to keep my opponent off guard. I always have the majority of possession.

Ive always seemed to be a master at defending, and not so good at poppin the goals in, so in this Pro I usually play an attacking game, 4-4-2 diamond or maybe even 4-3-3, quick passing is essential, and I tend to get it wide, advance, work it back to the middle, back out wide again, advance a bit more, centre again, then pop it up to my main striker who holds it up then a little through pass for advancing players usually puts them away, then its a bit of skill and a bit of luck for the outcome :)

My defending is pretty good its something i try to pride myself on, my style is very direct, hammering down until i make an opening or eventually pry my way through...

But against players my equal or better i tend to use wingers and pass around alot

The balls on the ground for the entire 90 minutes for me. Short passes, one-twos, through balls and that shimmy-R2 dribble maneovure all day!

i keep it simple. I don't honestly think I could beat half the people on here but I know how to beat my brother. We always have top quality matches winning by only a goal. I use the through ball chip a lot and that tends to work as he is always brazil :D. Other than that its all one touch then dribble, I shoot a lot, as soon as I get a clear shot on goal no matter where from and always take advantage of deffensive errors...

Wit my ML team. I just pass it about, and if I get it down the wings then I don't cross it, I just use the throughball to put it in to the box. Works far better.

My brother likes to give it the ol' "Boring, Boring Chelsea!" every time we play each other. Twat. I still give him a good kick in though.

i like to keep the ball but actually control the tempo of the game so one second i can be pasing the ball about slowly but then a second later ive changed the pace and the ball is in the back of their net

I like to wind up my mates, and I do the same to the opposition as practice for when I play mates. Basically it's a lot of one-touch passes, backheels (works best as left midfielder backheeling it up the wing to the running left back), Maradona turns (mastered those) and chips shots. Just out to shame ;) My defending is wicked though, as I nearly always win the ball cleanly without going to ground, and when I do around 1/10 slide tackles from behind will be a foul, so I'm not too bothered by counter attacks.

I beg your pardon?
Totaal Voetball.
It all depends on the situation. With the ball, I try to keep it until I can create a clear cut opportunity, although I do also like the element of surprise and try to be unpredictable. When I'm defending I'm looking for a counter attack.
Basically I play very attacking football, if I score a goal early on, I'll push up more and go for a stuffing. I never sit back on a lead. High pressure, high tempo stuff.

I try to look as good as possible, I hate scoring jammy goals.
The best kind of goal in my opinion is followed by 20+ passes and is tapped in from a few yards out after shredding the defence.
If the ball drops nicely outside the box, I'll always have a crack though.

Even if I get beat, I take pride in playing beautiful football.

Fast paced, beautiful attacking football. I have no patience in matches, my aim is to just get the ball into the back of the opponents net, no matter what.

Haha is that an attempt to speak a word Dutch. :D Wonder how you would pronounce that...
No, that's just how Johan Cruyff spells it.... And seeing as how he was the pioneer, it deserves to be spelt correctly.
It's pronounced Total Football.
