This is my ML team that I use in the ML cup. No classic players, no best in the world players (apart from Toldo), only players i like and that can pass. I have done about 7 seasons and this is about the team i would like to end up with, i might add 1 or 2 more.

I have nearly won an ML cup on 2 occasions and i have got 4 or 5 runners up medals. I always find that other ppl have a mix of best classics and best of present day. But many have tried and failed to beat this team. I find it funny that even with a collection of the best players in the world ,ever, ppl still need to use the cutback goal. To counter this awful style of play, i set my RB and LB to CB's (so have 4 CB's) that stops it.

Did all you people start on 'top player' and 'very hard' transfer activity. Cause i started with the default team and 2 seasons in I only know 2 of my players. To be fair, WHAT PLAYERS - C.Lucarelli and Park chu young. Lucarell knows where the goal is if he has a cross planted on his head and he is between 2 and 5 yards out.

I started on top player, reset prevention, default players, etc but have high transfer frequency. But to be honest I'm not sure this makes it easier. Now I'm in my 4th season, no one comes into buy my players anymore. By the second season I'd managed to pretty much get rid of all the default players, but that if anything caused me to have a poor season due to very low team gelling. Plus I missed having players like Jaric, Ordaz and Ruskin, who normally stay around for 5 or so seasons.

I don't like playing with very good players because that makes it to easy, this is more of a challenge. I don't like buying players I don't know, like the newcomers. I stick with players from the Dutch competition.

I unfortunately haven't been able to sell mister De Ridder yet, but a new transfer window is coming up, so I am quite sure that he can start to set riddles with another club soon.

Ive noticed a lot of people have started with teams like arsenal, man utd etc, i dont see much of a challenge there.

I always create a custom team and start with the default team and maybe add a couple of players before in start, and biuld my team gradually with top players and good youngsters.

i started with real zaragoza but i just cant get on with it this year.i simply cant do it.i play mostly online and find it totally different when i try and do my ml.the other teams usually beat me.
