Youth teams players, potential?

I have a couple of questions regarding to the youth team players

1) Will the players rated 40 something ever be decent players? Is it possible that one of them will be a "diamond in the rough"? I'm in my 4th year and the only players in my youth team are players rated in the 40's...

2) What about the original players, how good will they get. I signed Ruskin and Paliermi and they have been great, grow tons. But what about the other guys like Minanda, Costolo, Stremer, Coops, etc? Do they ever become good?

3) Where can I get the scout that breaks down the youth team players? I always see other people having scouts that compares players to Ronaldo or Keane. I purchased many top scouts and I can never get the scout that's able to see the comparisons of the players.

4) I took of classic players why is Henry and Blanco popping up?

1 - I think unless the dossier says 'reminds me of so and so' they are likely going to remain pants?

2 - After using the youths to initially populate a rubbish Defaults team, apart from Palmeri, I assume I'll eventually sell on that initial waves of youths. Shimizu is the obvious one that is stupidly good. Apart from that Schwarz, Mattson, Pelaez seem to be growing at a good (70s in Season 3) pace.

3 - I have a lowest level funded youth team and one of the dossiers on a youth goalie references him to Cech. I have Kouboyale as my Coach and his youth development is only 2/5. I've always assumed if the youth player has it, he has it and it doesn't matter what levels your staff are at. Could be wrong obviously.

4- Classic players is just for really old/dead people IIRC.
Like you I have it turned off, yet it if I do a search of 18yr olds or less in Season3 - when the 'real' players the game starts with have passed that age - I see Veron, David James, Cannavaro and some others. It's a right pain in the arse.

As much conjecture as anything concrete there, but those are my two pence.

I'm wondering one thing in coaches though.. can't recall them as I'm not home now. But coaches had like different value to Youth team and something else. The one coach has this "something else" and is said to "work with young talents and turn them into diamonds". He doesn't have Youth team value high at all. So my guess is that he boosts young players developement rate who are in your team already.

So does a coach having high Youth Team either boost the overall rate of your born youth team players, or players develop when they are IN the youth team just idling?
