Zidane ain't that good on PES2!

I hope i am not the only one in saying this but does anybody else think Zidane is shit on PES2. I've bought him a couple of times but no matter how fit he is or whether his form is top notch, he never plays well for me. I find that his dribbling and passing is very inconsistant, the only thing he has really done for me is scored a couple of goals from the edge of the box, he hardl gets any assists aswell!

Anybody else experiencing the same thing with him.

He's not great is he... considering he is perhaps the best player in the world! It's fair that he can get muscled off the ball quite easily but he usually doesn't as he avoids people with his skill. Similarly, Roy Keane seems to get muscled off quite easily when he shouldn't for his strength? Maybe different now but 2 seasons ago?

Don't worry.
In WE7 and PES3, he will be able to do the "Marseilles Turn" which would be the spinny move he uses by stepping on the ball.

yes, Totti is the best :D .....i like Zidane a lot as well even though hes a little slower with the ball...Recoba is very good too

Zidane, Totti, Recoba, Rivaldo, Beckham, Pires, Ballack, Verón, Scholes (don't laugh, he is actually quite good - great at scoring too).

Yeah Rivaldo gets my vote, although i've played a few stikers in that position, Henry does well there. I tend to have my OMF slightly to the right.

Rivaldo. Has anyone played Giggsy up front as a striker like Fergie did. I have and although he don't score that many he is a great provider for the other striker.

Yeah, I played Giggs up front in ML. It works well, good for running at defenders etc., but he's hopeless at heading.

Make Zinedine better!

If people think that he is not as good as he should be (and I have to say that I agree with all of you) then why not make him the best by increasing his stats.

We all know that he should be the best passer, although only of the shorter variety as I believe Beckham should have the the best long ball stats. He should have the best dribble accuracy stats but he should lack a little speed. His attacking stats should be in the mid 90's. You should look at the "special ability" stars as well. His shooting ability should be up there with the best and his team work should be rated along with the best in the game.

If all these attributes are beefed up a little then he will be the best in the game and it will be very evident in gameplay.

It's kinda cheating though.
He is already great at passing in the game so it's quite accurate.
Speed seems to be a big issue.
