Heya, i was wondering if anyone else felt let down, and disapointed with the latest edition of pes?

I for one certainly do, I admit i was originaly a fifa guy... but i was takening in by pes's Option file editing scene, it attracted me to the game and then i realised just how good th gameplay was too.

But with this installment editing on the ps3 version is so limited you can only have 8 kits :| Wow Hasnt next gen gaming come on leaps and bounds for us ps3 users i mean just simple things that even the original Xbox could do would be nice, listen to your own music while playing, on smackdown vs raw xbox users get to add custom entranc music us ps3 owners get to move the controler around to see what the guy would see walkin down the ring... the novelty wears of... 'v gone off topic with this rant lol


but i am disapoint with pes the novelty of diving n tugging has now warn off i want to edit teams kits and simple things and it wont let me... i wanna play on line but the lag is sooo bad its unbearable so i did the uthinkable...

i bought fifa 08, i no lack of editing has always been a fifa downfall but with fifa theres not much you realy need to edit i mean fully licenced kits team names (except the dutch national team...what gives there??) the online play totaly destroys pes... the be a pro mode is outstanding and so much fun... i wish pes had an option like this i wish they just made it editable again!!!

im sorry i'm having a rant and i don't realy know why...


does any one else feel disapointed what else do you guiys wish was on pes? any other kool moves like diving and tugging?

I too was disappointed, hardly even play it. Hopefully the next one is a vast improvement.

I can't understand how some people still think the game is great. It's an unfinished game!!

see i always saw pes as "unfinished" but the enjoyment was to come onto sites like this and share option files edit them and "finish" the game the way you like it... if that makes sence?

I get what you mean as I enjoy editing too (OCD) but this version took the piss. Frame rate issues, players not even the right skin colour etc.

Yeah konami really screwed us over with this one.
Usually they make up for it with the gameplay but they haven't even managed that with the arcadey style skating football.
I just hope that they realise how dissapointed we are in them, and they need to get their shit together come PES2009.
I never thought it would get to the stage where I would not just go out and buy PES on the release date.
I'm going to be far more careful next time.

In response to the lag issues online, check out this site. It claims to allow users to play any XP, Vista, PS3 or Linux game over the net for free.
I’ve setup an account but I’ve not tried it yet. Please let me know what you think of it
