Creating a more realistic pace - has anyone tried?

I like the game is nearly every way except the fact they've made it ridiculously and unrealistically fast - it's as though the players are on something. It's ruining the game for me - isn't it supposed to be a realistic simulation?

PES used to be about building up play and cleverly constructing moves and creating chances - now it's like 20 headless chickens running around like nutters...they could at least include a speed option. If I wanted an arcade game I'd buy FIFA 05 or some twaddle like that.

I guess I could edit everyone's speed and short pass speed but that would take days and days.

Has anyone tried doing this?

Sorry what your saying PES 09 players are to fast? Did you play PES08? By comparison this new one is way slower.

Totally right, I think you're on about pes 2008 mate, if you've played pes 2008 then you'll notice a massive difference in the speed, compared to the old one it's a LOT slower.
