What's the most enjoyable game

I hated pes 2008 and just got 2009

It seems better than 2008, and gfx, physics etc..all much better than pes 4-6 etc

But I can't help but feel pes 4-6 are still more enjoyable to play

I am playing pes 6 now and prefer it

I am wondering whether to even go back to pes5 if this is better than pes 6?

What's your thought's?

My thoughts are that PES2009 is way and by far the technically most advanced and offers the most variation in the ways that you can put the ball into the net.

But overall, for me, the best PES was PES3. It was the most balanced and aside from the odd freekick flaw (easily outlawed amongst friends) it had none of the glaring defensive AI flaws that has bogged the series down from PES4 onwards.

I know what you mean about PES2009 though. Despite it being the most glittered down PES yet, when you have been playing it a while it does all feel the same and the game has a habit of having to be played the same way time and time again.

I think pes 2009 is more realistic in that it is slower paced and you cant run about and dribble so easily but it is a bit 'clumpy' and not so smooth and slick

Pes 6 anyways is fast and fluid and feels much smoother which IMO is more enjoyable yet less realistic

But it is supposed to be a game to be enjoyed

Surely, you meant to say these the other way around?

Nah,

Like PES 6 you can run about and beat the team and score or pass up the pitch and score a blaster within seconds

I find that sometimes in PES 2009 the passes go slow and you can't always dribble passed so many players so easily..sometimes I seem to be doing a lot of slow passing to open up and try and find gaps/spaces..whereas on PES6 passes are rapid and even in congested areas a through ball can always give an opportunity or cause havoc

I think the speed of the game, movement and passes is quicekr in old PES as well

But somethings not right with PES 2009 when the kick the ball it doenst sound or feel right..like its a cannon not a ball

Anyway, I've given PES 2009 a fair shot now but I just find it very boring compared to PES6 which is a pity as I like the new graphics etc

But in saying that with the PES/fm08/09 mancini patch and all the new stadiums nad updates etc..PES6 is pretty cool
