360' dribbling - Porky pies?

MAD 69

I cannot find a source that confirms 360 degree movement, some say it's just for the PS3 version some say there is none all. Has someone been bullshiyting me or what?

Will we be able to edit our oppents squad/tactics
in the league or ML modes also?

The demo already has the 360 degree movement for both X360 and ps3. so it'll be in the final game.

I thought I remember reading a review this week with them saying it is actually still 16 way dribbling, with the 360 implementation minimally felt (?). Overall, I sense this is also a disappointment, as most reviews saying the game is still too clunky for its own good. The 360 angle movment is also would prove a bit useless since the running animations are still robotic as commented by readers.
Konami, why are you so lazy?? We put so much faith and hope in PES 2010. We deserve to start a thread and file a complaint against Konami for the many missteps in this new version.

There are 360 degrees it's just that some people can't use properly their analog sticks. If you move the stick really slowly you'll notice it.

A proper reviewer would say : "You're free to move in 360 degrees but unfortunately it's badly implemented at the moment, the sensitivity is not high enough and the outcome is that you end up moving always in the same directions"

Instead of saying : "You can only move in 16 directions"

Bottom line, it's not because you use it in 16 directions that it's limited to 16.

But in the demo, 360 dribbling is definately felt. Some are saying 16 way movement and stuff either because they can't use the sticks or because of the animations that pes 10 have. The animations aren't good.

You don't notice it too much if you're sprinting all the time. The slower you run the more angles you have. There's a video somewhere out there which I can't seem to find atm. It shows you a slow dribble with a lot of angles.

how long was this clip and who was the player?

It was under 1min and I believe Henry was the player.

Ok it was my video, I believed I posted a link on this board a while ago when the demo first came out.

I removed this video because I got tired of explaining (if not arguing) hundreds times the same thing and decided to leave them in their ignorance. When people like MAD 69 wonder and ask that's okay, but when they lie on purpose or even worse make reviews claiming it's not there, it gets irritating when you know some people take reviews seriously while they clearly shouldn't, at least for the most part.

I know it's mean but I'm not as patient as you guys.

^I know what you mean. False claims or blind ignorance or hate towards a game (especially pes since it gets more heat going on for some reason) irritates me alot.

^STFU. I try to be as fair as possible unlike you who just keep bashing without proper understanding. With the above post I was also referring to other games and fifa included, but moslty pes because for some reason fifa fanboys like to join a pes forum and start a war or a pes bash. I can't say the same for pes fanboys because I don't go to ea forums. Many users like to bash a game (fifa aswell as pes) without understanding it first. that's the problem.

^ I've been saying the exact same thing in several threads now. I'm delighted reading your post mate. Know exactly what you're saying.
It's like if a barcelona supporter put on a real madrid shirt then try to convince the real supporters that their team is rubbish.

^ I'm not being sarcastic. I agree with Shauns post. I do think it's strange for fifa guys signing up in here to talk shit about pes.

Certain posts above clearly show how naive some people are... sooo many people have stated that they dislike Fifa and (the look of) PES this year, but still people are too ignorant to understand that it is possible to dislike both games... whilst there are indeed some fifa fanboys determined to bash pes, there are also pes fanboys trying to defend many shoddy things that are utterly defenseless.

Hey all

This is a major gripe for me, the 360 dribbling just isnt faithfully produced in pes2010 (thats why all the players run at pre-determined angles and running in a straight line is like you are on rails!) , Ive been a life long pes fan but after trying fifa 10 its clear this is 360 dribbling and I reckon in pes 2010 it would be awesome. Seems to me that they included it at the end as a PR thing instead of implementing it properly.

S1mon.
I understand your point mate. But the thing i wanted to say was that i just don't get why fifa guys create an account in here just to talk shit about pes.
Of course it's possible to dislike both games.

Fair enough. But don't you think it's just possible to like both games aswell? Because now not only aren't you allowed to like it, but everytime someone is explaining (you'll notice I didn't say either justifying, excusing or defending), a specific aspect of the gameplay, he's automatically called a fanboy, only because that's subversive, and that is smartasstic.

Why ? Because most of them have the arrogance to think they're smarter than these "blind" fans just because contrary to them, they spend hours writing posts and threads they name "constructive criticism" to list all the bad things they hate in the game.

But in the end, both behaviours have the same result, none.

@Rasmus : If you read this you obviously realised I wasn't targetting you in my previous post.

^ Well, fair enough mate. However, I still find myself wondering why i was called a smartass for echoing the point of view that it seems strange that fifa guys sign up in here just to talk shit about pes.
