Hi guys, I am slowly losing the will to live and am getting really fed up being beaten every time I play, not just the new PES but any of them lol. I am really bad and am looking for any information on where to get a playing guide for the new PES (if there is one). If not, can anyone give me some help on how to defend? Everytime I get the ball I always seem to turn into the opposition player and my player stands still for about 3 seconds, however when I tackle the opposition he either gets the ball back right away (if I actually manage to get it off him) or I give away a bloody foul!! Also, when I'm attacking with, say messi, I run and try to cut in before passing the ball, like I've seen nearly everyone I play do, but when I try to cut in he's that slow that the opposition just sticks a foot in and I'm back to defending. Seriously, it's driving me insane :w00t:w00t:w00t:w00t:w00t:w00t I love PES but am seriously considering FIFA just because of their guide book!!:no::no:

Pes 10 has a book aswell that comes with the game. It explains the controls of the game.
READ THAT FIRST. Also start playing on a lower level difficulty.

Well i wouldn't exactly call it a book, IT'S A BOOKLET. What I'm talking about is a strategy guide to help me out. Also, I'm not talking about master league, when I play that, on regular, I'm not as bad (or more likely they're not that good) Its when I play other people online who are of the same level as me.

But do you know all the buttons? When you know all the buttons I think it just comes down to practice... also you should learn to use the strategy controls, it can help a lot in some situations. And really, I think you should play on Top Player when you play against the computer. I think its better to learn the hard way. Just do a lot of matches against the computer on Top Player and I think you will improve a lot.

I dont think I know all the buttons. I know what the buttons do thats explained in the small booklet but there has to be more combos etc that aren't in there, hence the reason I would like to know if there is a guide. I'll give another example, the booklet says to press L1 to change the player you want to control but when I do this it usually changes to a different player, or more frustratingly, it'll change to the player I want and when I'm chasing down a striker, it'll change to a different player without me touching the f**king L1 button :realmad::w00t:w00t:realmad::w00t:realmad::w00t

Also, on master league, I do play top player because on regular I can go a season undefeated but as soon as I need to know what Im doing, it all goes Pete Tong!! That and the fact that no matter how crap the team I play, there players are faster, stronger, etc etc.....think you get my drift lol

do a google search. someone will have put up a guide.

Done that, the company who usually do the guides, piggyback, aren't doing one for 2010 which I find really weird since the whole tactics engine has changed!!

Exactly what I meant. If you know the buttons, then go practice.
