I have made a formula for global editing and team slider tweaking to improve the gameplay of PES 2010.
I have spent many hours testing different values and how they affect the AI in the game to come up with a satisfying result.
Here I will reveal my latest formula that is even newer and in my opinion better than the one I used on the OF I have uploaded in the completed files section. I may or may not release an OF with this formula later, but since my focus when playing PES is gameplay over correct details my OF will probably never be satisfying to anyone who cares alot for correct squads and such, so therefore I simply reveal this formula here so you can apply these edits to your favourite patch.
This formula is tailored to Professional difficulty because I feel it's the difficulty option that AI behaves best in, especially since I have improved Agility and Response on all players which is exactly what Top Player does as well. Top Player also add a lot of scripting which seem to not be as much present on Professional difficulty.
ABILITY CHANGES
Attack -80%
Makes the ball less "glued" to the players feet
Defence -50%
IMPORTANT! Not GK, they need it to behave properly
Balance -50% (+36)
Makes physical challenges more interesting
Stamina NO CHANGE
Top Speed -12%
Mainly to make good form matter to fast players and avoid that slower players on form outrun naturally fast players. A player with 95 Top Speed can only get 5 points better even on top form, while a player with 90 get 9 points better on top Form. With this edit the faster player is always faster when on same form.
Acceleration -14%
Mainly to make good form matter to quick players, same as above really.
Response (-6) -50% (+40)
Reducing the gap between players to improve AI

Dribble Accuracy -70% (+20) +90%
Makes players more adapt to move with ball to feet
Dribble Speed -70% (+30) +60%

Defence Minded - None (Makes players too afraid of pressing until its too late)
Balanced - GK, CD, DMF, CMF, AMF
Attack Minded - SB, WB, SMF, WF, SS, CF
Condition/Fitness
All - +2 (AI players does not perform well unless form is decent)
GK - All on 8 (Keepers are weird in this game, good form makes them less weird)

All SB/WB get "Overlapping Run" (P01) (Almost all backs join attack nowadays, even Gabriel Heinze.)
TEAM SLIDERS
Pressing 50 To avoid zerging in central areas
Attacking Style -50% To make teams use flanks a bit more
Compactness -70% To avoid zerging in central areas
Player Support (-50%) +45 To make players look for good positions offensively
