You know for support range like if you want your supporting players to be close or far
on pc it goes to 10
i am never sure what to use
if you want an all out attack what would you put it as,. high or low
thanks
ps can you also take a moment to say what defensive line number works well for a quick counter attack, but still not leaving the defense too open.
ive asked this before but nobody answered, and i find the generic standard pes thing doesnt work well.
Tbh, I have never found any of these 'tactical' options useful, with the exception of actual formation changes. For when your team begin to play badly i.e. when everything periodically becomes extremely inconsistent (which I put down to scripting) then nothing works - it's one of the biggest cop-outs of the entire series. So all these posts you see dedicated to tactical settings and configuring man-marking etc are a load of nonsense.
In terms of quick and direct in-game tactical responses you can drag your players back and forward with the D-pad or double tap press to get multiple defenders to rush at the ball carrier which will initiate a visible response (insofar as your players will move) but it unfortunately doesn't amount to a thing when the computer is in script mode as those players will simply periodically 'malfunction' or do nothing anyway (as in they crowd around the ball carrier but he just comes out with the ball anyway with that good old 100% success rate).
You may have limited success with all that 'nonsense' when your players are functioning (the scripting is not active) however that is usually when you don't need to make changes because everything will work as it should.
So yea in the end the whole strategic system is a bit redundant. What those changes may do is shorten the scripting period (which is a good thing - but there is no way of actually measuring this because scripting itself is periodically randomized) but as far as having any real visible strategic impact they're pointless.
