Help Please Stuttering gameplay!!

I am currently running:

XP Pro
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
2*512mb matched corsair X Memory
ATI Radeon 1650 pro 256ddr3
Samsung Syncmaster flat monitor (75hz)

The problem is the game like glitches and stutters sometimes when playing. I have read other threads and the best people have come up with is get a new graphics card. I have just forked out a bit on this one and it works fine with near enough all games at max settings. I have downloaded the latest ATI drivers and the problem still has not gone. I have also tried adjusting the refresh rate and found 70hz seems to work best for some unknown reason?

I read that a patch of some sort maybe released, has anyone got any ideas as I am getting really F**ked off.

try 2 get the no cd.exe and than it must be good, it works for me !!

Running it without a cd and still got the prob. I wouldn't say the game is unplayable by any stretch, but it is spoiling it. Does anyone know if there will be a patch or is one available to rectify this?

i run the game on,

win xp
amd 64 3000xp proc
ati x700 pro
2gig ddr mem.

and it runs great here, strange that u have some probs maybe the refresherate is different from desktop till game. for that i run a program its that makes all the games run on the same refreshe rate like your desktop. u can find it here,

The game runs smooth enough, just now and again you get a blur or a line on the game. I'm not sure if this just the game? Do you get any distortion ever when playing? What refresh rate do you run it at?

I have read that there is a problem with some graphics cards and this game, have you heard anything?

I do appreciate your help and if anyone else can assist I will be grateful.

No i got no lines at all in the game. the grapichs are good and fine, i run the game on 75 hertz. the same as my desktop because i use the refresch rate program. i got a BenQ tft 19 inch (16 milsec.) monitor and the game is running on 1280/1024 ( same as desktop)the game detail is put on high.
i don't no what u must do but i now how u feel.........gl m8.
