Glad to hear you got your network setup and running.

With all these new users logging onto PS2 online for the very first time, you would think that Sony would now have to reconsider their 2008 cut-off date for the PS2 online servers.

I'm hoping they do.

The rumour is that Sony want to shut down the PS2 online servers by 2008 - so that they can dedicate their online servers specifically for the PS3.

Thus, forcing the likes of you and me to either continue playing older games against the CPU on our PS2s; or to grin and bare the new change and go out and buy a PS3. :shocking:

I think I'm gonna end up sticking with my PS2 because right now, there is no way that I am ever paying more than £200 for a PS3. :no:

no its free just plug in your ethernet cable

Nikos just simply connect your PS2 to your router with an ethernet cable. If you have PES5 or 6 that should configure the setup for you (just accept default) and then you are ready to be really disappointed because the game isnt as good online as it should be.

Gotta agree there.

The game just feels so much slower when playing online.
